TempaT	Posted - 2007.02.05 03:02:00 - [1] So you all complain that BOB has a hold on almost everything including supposedly the DEVS (Not confirmed yet pls read sticky). So why not all unite and beat them. I mean seriously they are winning the Isk war for one and also they are the most organized Alliance seen in EVE. The only reason they have such a hold in EVE is the fear factor and the fact no-one is willing to do anything about it. Ok so all the mega corps join together and alliances. Co-ordinate a battle of say 10 x Huge groups and sweep 1 by one threw their systems taking every POS they have Down and then the their outpost's. You say is this guy for real. Well the theory is probable but the main problem is no-one is willing to do anything about it. And TBH im sick of reading all the whining on the forums about how overly powered they are and why CCP haven't done anything to stop it, Why should they? 1) Stop Whining about them! 2) Stop fighting amongst yourselves. 3) Join Forces 4) Force them back to empire This is not a rant its something allot of people out their have been thinking about but no-one really has taken the initiative to try and resolve this overpowered Alliance. The longer you leave it the bigger and stronger they grow. Your Views on this PLS

If all of 0.0 went and fought, imagine the lag. Not sure if anyone remembers the siege of EC-... Putting the lag aside.. its still pretty impossible. Too much negotiations would need to happen. What happened? You had a "United Nations" of countries band together to fight back. So this seems to me like history repeating itself ( even in EVE ), So stop whining in threads, get the Alliances stronger, bigger, and have experienced players come in and teach the younger ones, then with enough force they can be over come. Even if it is one gate, system at a time. WWII took years for the "United Nations" to fight back and make a stand to win back their land. Do the same here .... Alliances band with others and fight them. It's the ONLY way they can be beaten. And YES they can be beaten /end blog

So far, all of the people ive seen complain are either just lowly members of their alliance, dont even live in 0.0, or have no clue wtf theyre talking about. The thing is, you make it sound so simple and easy, yet what is your pedigree and experience on alliance crushing, have you been involved in long campaigns with a dedicated, hardcore enemy who thrive's on pvp. Some other dude said in another thread the best way to beat bob would be to give up andleave the area, how out of line with the eve idea is that. To be utterly honest, it sounded like the opinion of someone who haasn't been in the game and doesn't really understand it, possibly just moved from another game . Not to mention it would boring. The BoB model has proven to be effective and one thing people fail to realise is that if they worked on themselve's, the teamwork, the dedication etc, there would be more contender's and competition. Here's a scenario of what would happen in the worst case. Weget utterly blobbed but keep fighting. We lose all station's, outpost's and pos's but keep fighting. The enemy stay in the area and we keep fighing hard and constantly using guerila tactic's, hit and run's ( which were quite capable at )and the enemy start to lose morale, some corps want to leave back home, get bored chasing ghost's etc. Space start's to get retaken, enemy morale drop's even more (could be several month's or whatever at this point ). They all bugger off home and BoB pursus'e with renewed bloodlust seeking vengence and crushes them, 1 at a time until there morale is utterly gone. People don't seem to understand the mentality and think THE BLOB will win it for them. Maybe in the short term, definately not in the long term. The best case scenario for the above mentioned is that BoB manages to hold onto it's space, beat's the enemy off (hehe) and pursue's them to there home's and take's it to them there. Defeating an enemy that thrive's on pvp by bringing the mother of all war's to them is like trying to kill a lion by feeding it loads of raw meat and stroking it's belly
