I have recently set a corp up and have been trying to rent an office in the system i have set as my head quarters.... I Cant i rent an office due to the number of corps using them to advertise for new members...I have been around the system for weeks mining and never seen any of these corps in there...Surely its time for the gm's to limit the number of offices corps can have...Im fed up with hearing oh goto 0.5 and above theres loads there...(yeah along with rubbish ore) why dont they go and advertise there...I want to start using the unused factory slots to build ships for new corp members and for them to add ore for this but as it is we have to mine jump god only knows how far just to be able to do it....[:evil:.....There must be a way so other new players including myself can get offices in these systems and not just leave them to a few big corps who have been around from the start to use as advert space!!!!

There are plenty of free offices just not in the main highway systems and the ones off those. You just need to look a little harder.

Nah, donŠt expect offices in any location of any worth. This is one of the forgotten (again and again) issues that will probably never be resolved.
PS : i donŠt think CCP likes players starting new corps, just join an existing one !

As someone said look for them they are there, just not in any highway system.
Or should I say not with any facilities attached. I got one about 2 months ago in Amarr.
For myself I'd love to see a corporate management skill that limits the number of corporate offices that you can have.
Or... when the faction standings mean anything... have corps with horrible standings evicted...

The trick was to be here the first week after launch and rent offices at every major junction of the game.. of course you only knew what those were if you played beta. Semi unfair, but oh well, it hasn't really bothered anyone in the long run.. I think the most wanted office in the game is the gehi station lol.

Unfortunately, however JK-FIX has now been mined into insignificance and Gehi is no longer worth a mention

Beleive me i have looked and there are no offices left to rent...In short its not worth starting a corp up with the way it is at the moment...Unles you want to be in noob land for ever mining rubbish ore...
In the system im in theres 3 staions no offices left and in the 3 weeks i have been there i have seen maybe 10 corps tops (and thats being generous)who rent offices out of the 48 who have offices...
Why cant they be made to use cans and anchor them to advertise.....
I have spoken to several players who are fed up with the situation and are considering packing eve in because we have no chance of competing with the established corps..
And for those that say there's offices out there you go find me one near to where i am and ill pay isk for it....

Ba - I have found several places with offices to rent in the last few days... not all have loads of facilities , but some had ... just don't go to the Highway systems..

Hmm, you just have to look harder. I started a Corp again on Monday. Rented a nice office, factory slots and lab space all in the same station.
No, indeed it's not on the highway. But close enough and conveniently smack down the place me and my mates hung out to farm rats and mine.
Why you want to have a place there anyway? There's plenty of people playing well away from Gluelai and Glueminaire that have needs for items too.

on the edge of cal,gal space theres is some 04. and lower sec ( yse risky ) ive been mining here for 3 weeks there is offices if u dont mind battle ships flying in and out of the belt yr mining you go tnothing to fear ( 3 local corps mine in the system im in ) and when i say mine i mean 10+ BS strip mining... i dont mind and they dont mind me being there .. if you explore long enuff ull find some offices..

Office space is available. In the past week I have opened offices in 3 locations throughout empire. I think .4, .6, and .8 security systems. They are available, you just need to look for them.

Ok, there is no need to bleet like a little lost sheep, there are offices available at pretty much any station in the game you just have to be patient.
The current system means that you have to renew your office rent every 30 days, but as with most bills in life people dont pay them in time and the rents lapse and viola an office space is free to rent again.
Now this is not speculation this works for me all the time, we recently left the corp we started 2 days into the game and created a new one, we have now got 7 offices in 6 systems. My most recent aquisition was an office in MIES, which is one jump from Luminaire (highway system) In order to get the office I would hit the rent office button once a day, it took 10 days before an office was free.
For the 2 offices I have in Aeschee I sent emails to all of the small corps 8 members and under who were not HQ'd there and offered them 1 million isk if they would kindly vacate so that I could move in. It took 2 days to get a favourable response.
These 2 approaches work unless the station you have picked is in a perfect staging position for a warzone or 0.0 space like the station at GEHI that has been full forever and short of stumping up 20 mill to someone you are never getting a home there.
My 2 isk for what its worth.

Well if curse is like stain and your not in an alliance you wont be there long.
Im in 0.0 on the edge of amarr system and there arnt any offices yes i could rent one in 0.5 and above but i want to be able get at the good ore for construction and not have to warp 15 jumps with every load of ore i get,when in the systems around where i want base the corp theres loads of empty factory slots and good ore.Not all of us can spend 12 hours a day playing eve.
Still reckon corps should be limited to a set number of offices so new players get the same chance as everyone else has had.How can you run a corp with a hanger in noob systems and have to mine in outer regions to get the ore to construct ships and other items...

I have rented yeterday an office in Ethernity... wich is obviously very center, i was surprise to find one free there...
I think there are really offices to rent just jump around...

Yes, there are still offices available. I rented one two days ago in tash murkon prime. And one a day before that 3 jumps from a highway system in a 0.8. So trust me there are offices available. Just look in some of the stations that do not have facilitys like reprocessing, fitting, whatever.
