A command carrier that gives increased boosts based on proximity, gives pilot unique command type overviews such as location of cloaked fleet members in system or on field. (large grid).
A siege mode, that when activated makes the ship stationary, but allows pilots to clone jump to it, to operate guns, much like pos gunners, skill based up to 3-5 turrets or something. (nothing to godly or over power but medium to large sized turrets) make the ship able to hold at lot of turrets but the majority could only be controlled by players. in this ship siege mode shouldn't make it stationary. the ability to be mobile or hold your ground defensively could make things interesting.
This might bring a new kind of capital combat and support to the game were it has been seriously lacking. |

I'd rather see what they'll do to the current capital ships in Citadel. |

I'd like to see capitals that can siege to create pocket grids that can't have their contents scanned but the grid itself can be with great skill. As well, anything within the pocket grid is not shown in local except the pilot of the ship that created the pocket grid.
You can only see what is on that grid once you physically enter that grid. The Grid should be of normal grid size of about 10,000km cube to prevent completely controlling the entire grid with bubbles and etc.
Uses: -Hide large fleets for staging -Hide regular cynos from local beacon broadcasting -Staging of extended Blops Operations.

Use a Mobile Scan Inhibitor. Goes up in 1 minute, lasts for an hour. If your fleet takes longer than an hour to stage, you should use a station.
As far as hiding extended Blops operations, that's what those lovely things called cloaks are for.
EvE is hard. It's harder if you're stupid.
I couldn't have said it better.
Hello, Mr Carebear. Would you like some cheese with that whine?

How about a new kind of capital ships that look like lions and all link together and form some kind super humanoid robot. Because a super humanoid robot in space would be pretty cool. It would be even cooler if there were some kind of theme music that played when the capital ships were combining, and some kind of neat merging graphical slow-mo movie.
The super humanoid combined robot could use a gigantic sword to slay other capital ships instead of lazer beams, which are pretty boring when compared to a huge freaking sword.
I mean just think of it. A giant robot space ships hacking other ships to bits with super sword. I'm sorry, I forgot the most important part. The sword GLOWS!
I mean seriously. What has been seriously missing from Capital fights? Kendo! This would totally introduce a new kind of capital combat that has been lacking from the game.
I know. I'm a genius.

I like that (mostly) all true capital ships are a type of command ship in addition to their other functions, and so I'd prefer if this functionality be given to an already existing capital ship, rather than adding a new one for this. I want to see more variety in the types of command effects that different kinds of capitals grant, and it would be neat to see dreadnoughts gain command capabilities.

Just like you have many things that can do the same thing such warp disruption bubbles (deployables, Interdictors, Hictors)......
It could be interesting to have more tools to hide staging fleets, including from local.

Cloaks don't hide you from local....
Something that does should be used at some risk and take a Supercapital to generate it.
