What i was asking was if devs are not allowed to play the game with another character that actually doesnt show that they are devs.

If there's public connection made between these two (i.e. someone figures what 'regular character' a dev has and posts it all over some public forum) then the regular character is being put out of game. (they can't do that to developer's "dev character" because people would still figure out easily Tuxford under name Drofxut is the same guy because he's still tweaking the ship balance and such ... so it's the 'regular characters' that get the axe in such case) So they are not allowed to play with another char besides that of the developer?? Now to clarify something, i love this game i like it the very much and thats why iam playing and i thing everyone done a great job with it, but saying that the devs can play the game with a non dev char that they cant reveal to the rest of community that alone holds some dangers and correct me if iam wrong. Something else that strikes me as odd is although most of you agree that the devs should play the game but noone mentioned why they need to hide their characters if the only thing they do is improving the game. and last ofc its an ethical matter and not legal but lets not forget that the world is what we make of it and not what the laws dictates.
