and the bill is not the same on each side, lol
Have you read Seleenes Battle Report?
Morsus Mihi and friends had over 70 ships there including about 6 capital ships, and yes they WERE bumping and yes they KNOW the theories you recite, and they additionally knew about warp bubbles, except unlike you actually used them with much praise from the MC which sort of indicates they're no total noobs, and guess what: They couldn't stop EITHER of the two motherships from warping.
To date no mothership is known killed in action, and that includes one very obnoxious pirate mothership lazily racking up, what's the current count, over 1000 kills?
It's almost like Heikki in his best smartbombing time
Having said that, I don't think they should be changed. You kill their fighters, they jump out and lick their wounds.
no ur completely wrong. ONE thign was bumping it in the end, which was a vagabond. Because it had large smartbombs it was popping all the figthers and drones, and also no one got in web range of it. But it took what 30 ****ign minutes to get out of that large bubble?
Why didn't they kill it? because they weren't expecting it and they weren't setup for it. If they really wanted to kill it they needed to have their new arrivals come in battleships loaded with heavy nos and a few neuts and self remote repairing drones.
Then have maybe 5 or so huginns (I think those are the web range ones?) in their webbing it, not all at the same time so the figthers couldn't go after it but you have one web it and when he sends figthers on him have ur support kill the figthers and keep repping him with those drones! sure he may die but u got 4 or so left and he ain't gonna go anywhere fast ;p. Why do i say huginns? because they would be outa the smartbomb range, though this could also be done with faction/officer smartbombs...
Also pulling carriers out on it was bad and they shoulda stopped because of the smartbombs they figthers would go pop. Get those pilots into dreadnaughts, thats when you get some real stuff going on. If they can't get into dreadnaughts have those carriers kit up with as many heavy neutralizers as they can.
One of their bigger problems was their lack of capital ships, from that battle report it seems like they had ONE carrier, just one. The best way to take down a mothership or especially a titan would be some dreads, support as well of course but dreads is where its at. Actually they were only 3 carriers and 2 motherships, you could leave the huginns out, have the sniper fleet concentrate on each of the carriers in turn and have 5 dreadnaughts, yes 5 ;p. Or more if you can! each with a webifier fitted and a heavy tank. They go into siege mode and each keep one of the ships webified. Won't be going anywhere ;) Still gonna need some bships with heavy nos and neuts nossing them from outside of the smartbomb range though so they can't jump. (Unless they can't jump in a bubble, which I don't know, I know they can't warp.)
So really they're problem was that they weren't ready for it. They didn't know it was coming so they didn't prepare and when they had it there they probably just asked for anything and everything to come and kill it. The lack of capitals and something that could tie it down was a big problem. The bubble shoulda been the death of those motherships.
WRONG. Officer smartbombs pop the bubbles. The dictor dies as soon as it comes within web/smartbomb range.
Oh, and you cant web a supercapital either, so forget about the half-dozen huggins. - - -
