I have another character on another account I made years ago, and I would like to have him on this account.
I know it has to be active, and it costs money and 10h of time to do the transfer, but if I reactivate the account, what about the rest of the time left on the account? That is the only character on the account, and the transfer request would take 5m of time (plus 10h I don't get to use that char).
Does it get added to the other account? If not, can I petition a GM to just merge the accounts together so I'm not throwing away money? Or should I just activate the account, use it to queue up skills or whatever, then during the last 12h of the month sub just request the transfer?
Sorry if this needs to go in another forum, wasn't sure where a question like this went. |

The time will not get transferred.
You can try to petition, tell them that all you want is to transfer the character, see if they'll transfer it for you. You'll have to have the character transfer fee ready, possibly in PLEX.
If they say no, you'll have to activate the account, train for 28 days, then transfer. Keep in mind that the transfer may take 10+ hours, so don't leave it for the last minute. |

CCP has a history of being very helpful in such situations, if you file a petition, and are patient. |

They smell about $40 waiting to happen, so I doubt they'll give you any special consideration. You'll have to pay to reactivate the account, and pay to transfer the toon. As mentioned above, the best way to help mitigate the cost is to train a toon on the reactivated account for the better part of the month and extract the SP for sale on the market, then transfer the toon.
Depends on how bad you want it. $40 is no big deal, what... 3 beers at the ballgame? |

Shrug, on the other hand, two non-newbie characters in a single account is a setup for either dual training (which costs PLEX, which is more than an additional subscription), or for using injectors to bump up one of the characters (which again costs more than an additional subscription). I wouldn't assume anything; wait for the ticket answer. |
