Grew up in LA, spent 5 years in Palm Springs and now live in San Diego (north county). Best place on earth in my humble opinion.

Yeah, Stockton isn't exactly the best, but it's not terri-bad either. Considering hosting a meet in SF or Sacto. Just a bar-meet at first, and if we get a good turn out, then I'll go full-bore like my fellow VETO brethren and we'll do a weekend meet like Nashville and Vegas. Trial run in the works ;-)
