What do you all do? While your mining I mean? I'm looking for a pass time while I mine. Also, I need to check back to it every few minutes, meaning nothing I can do can be action oriented like a FPS. Just curious what all you experienced miners do while mining.

Talk with corp mates, mostly. Now and then I will check my skill plan on Evemon or something.

IGB eve-poker.com kills the time when I'm doing long jumps.

I usually go to miniclip.com or addictinggames.com Both have a crapload of free flash games that are fun to play.

Normally I program, then come back to the game to see my retriever has been destroyed by rats. After that its a fun few minutes flying around to buy another, and go back to mining in hopes of earning back the cash I just spent. Alas its a vicious cycle...

I don't mine, but I haul often. Read a good book or two, do homework, play with cat, rinse dishes, water a plant or something *yawn*

I keep my eye on local, intel channels, and alliance chat in order to have as much warning as possibe if hostiles are incoming.
Mining in 0.0 is so much more exciting than empire  |

I check in on these forums to read all the juveniles posting about how cool they are when they boost their battered egos by being pirates.

In 0.0 look at local and make sure I am ready to jump when some ebil Pi-rat comes after me. In Low to high Sec,l Youtube Baby!
Also Windowed mode is your friend for them long mining runs.

Wait.... Are you saying you treat mining in lowsec the same as highsec? Hrm, someday yourtube is going to get you blowd up ^^

Wow, I never thought of half of these. Lately I've been watching Adult Swim shows that I've missed in the past months with Eve window'd. Sealab 2021, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and some other animes. Flash games aren't a bad idea. Also I've busted out old school Civ2, a turn based stratgey. Chatting with corp mates goes without saying, and I have a CORP now. THanks for the offer on that. I'd like to keep this going, what else you guys do while mining? ^_^

Sorry to derail, but am I approaching these cartoons the wrong way or do they require a certain special SOH ;)? They're sometimes funny but they're mostly just odd to my mind :p.

omg another information i will forget soon, i hope^^
While mining i watch tv or only watch the mining laser turns on-off-on-off-on-off...or even switch left-switch right-switch left-switch right...
I cant minize eve unless i am docked in a station cause that causes a crash most the time, you know that 100% cpu useage crash wich prevents you from switching back into the game via taskbar.
