Consider the two possible outcomes: a) BoB wins against RA/Goonswarm and the others involved. Why should they stop there and not take LV also, not that they are in the area anyway and know all about LV logistics, strategies and such? b) BoB looses and retreats. Then LV is all alone with low morale against an enemy which just boosts of high morale. In both cases it is bad for LV. No, they shouldn't be happy. And actually I think the _only_ right things for them to do is to shoot BoB as soon as they enter their space. Only this will help them. They might suffer some territorial losses against RA et al. but so what? The alliance as whole would survive. In the other case BoB will just swallow them.
