To make testing more attractive, can we get faster Skillpoints, more ISK for mission, higher bounties and possibly even NPC market buyers ?
The biggest problem, as I see it, is that most people are on test servers immediately after a mirror, but hten the ISK is spent and ships are lost.
Maybe even introduce a skill queue in Sisi only. This way we can even be away from the test server for a while and come back without being lost on our main characters.

how on earth can you have money problems? go buy a battleship and get it blown up, buy another and do same, i think you can make 10 bil a hour by doind this.
Edit: as for skill training time, leave as it is.

Free (100 ISK) implants up to +5s. That's your (slightly) faster SP gain. Set Cybernetics to L5, mirrors are pretty far apart anyway.
As for cash... for a starter char, there's some buy orders for implants still around even months after the mirror. For an older char, buy the most expensive insurance ship for 100 ISK, insure it, blow it up, repeat as needed... instant ISK. And there's always the alternative to ASK for ISK in FD-MLJ local. People run arround with multi-billions in their pockets due to all the ships destroyed, so giving you a few mil won't hurt them at all. You won't ever need more than that anyway in FD-MLJ. _ MySkills | Module/Rig stacknerfing explained |

this has been discussed alot and will never happen sry. it's too risky to change the code for testing, we want release code in testing not some special code.

Well, to be honest, it wouldn't require any MAJOR code change... ...just one implant with Cyber L1 needed, seeded only on SiSi markets, with +10000 to all attributes _ MySkills | Module/Rig stacknerfing explained |

a small change to the database where everybody suddenly has +7 implants in their heads... maybe even when you get a new clone (altough that could be useless cause you aren't allowed to pod anybody)
but a change in a database registry isn't influencing any code, does it?
and for isk, get the biggest ship you can fly... undock in it... self destruct... and voila, more cash =p
i do that all the time with freighters on the test server... you'll get a few bil that way easy... AND you can test salvaging very easy =p

It has also been discussed that something simple, such as +1000 attribute implants/boosters would take mere seconds to implement, require absolutely no changes of code on any level, and could easily be removed/re-applied by the individual player to test skill-training related issues in a normal environment.
How come we can't use something like that?
I understand that SISI is a testing server, and not a "try before you buy" server. However, you can use boosters instead of implants, which have a limited timeframe. Put market sell-orders on the test server for +1000 attribute boosters during times where players need to test new skill-intensive content before it is released onto Tranquility. When this testing is no longer needed, remove the boosters from the market. It's that easy, is it not?
Whenever CCP releases new skill-intensive content into the game along with new skills, it is always very buggy when it hits Tranquility. This simply would not happen if thousands of players were allowed to test this content for bugs/balancing, instead of only a handful of people.

When CCP releases new skill-intensive content on the test server, they also give player the relevant skills to use the new modules, so there's no worries there. People need to spend time TESTING on the test server instead of logging in once in a great while to play with cool ****. The people who spend lots of time on the test server know how the rules work and have come to accept it.
Why do people keep bringing this up?

I would like the BPO's to be set to a much lower price if at all possible. Right now BPO's are at Tranq prices and when you're trying to run through Capital Ship production that's a whole lot of cash you are going to need. |

everyone would then fly nothing but cap ships and not test anything. The +4s being changed to give +20 or somthing is better idea.

I will anounce from start that my english is poor
The thing is that everyone will fly cap ships (dread and tier 1 carrier) and eventualy get bored. I flyed my capital for the fist time for an hour from wich 30 mins was warping. It wouldn't be a problem to make +20 implants but there is another problem... The Updates to the main cluster wich resets all your hard work on training various skills. The omnipotent skill as far as i know gives you the ability to fly everything but you don't find all the ships such as factions and are some ships as Titan and Mothership that can't be build that easy. In my opinion it wouldn't hurt the actual gameplay and as for CPP they still have their "gems" for Main server so ppl don't lose interest by seeing all the ships on the test server full filling their curiosity.

I understand this completely. However, is it possible to simulate the same thing by giving everyone really high attributes?
I would think this would not require special code, just altering them in the database.
I think the idea of being able to use everything does help in testing, and I do understand that changing code creates problems, but I think this allows this yet leaves the code alone?

Raising attributes, right, this might work, if there's no 'integrity' checking (to detect maybe character creation exploits or anything else in characters) of characters in the code, then this would mean specific code for test server again... -- Pocket drone carriers (tm) enthousiast ! Guys let me explain how the Omnipotent skill works as far as i know. You train it like any ordinary skill and be able to fly everything and equip everything, cause there are some modules such as siege or jump portals that require almost a year of training. And don't forget a thing cause i see that people are very excited for the gazillion implant points... Ok so you got it, you have a 100 points in every attribute but you still have to train the skill even tho this means a day or max 10 but remember that the test server from time to time gets updated to the main server status witch means that you have to go thro the process again. This skill trains in a day or 2 or 10 but as soon as it finishes you are ready to test anything.
I know also that this is a DEV toy but we are talking about testing not playing.

edit: Of course, ISK is no problem on Sisi, but I still stand on the faster skillpoints
Every time there is a mirror train cybernetics lvl 5 put +5 imp's in hey presto faster training
