How much do you reckon I should be asking for people's unwanted Rookie ships (assuming only Gallenteans get Velators, correct me if I'm wrong)?
I have my reasons...

Just repackage the ship, and then re-dock. Should give you a new ship each time.

I beleive you need to actually lose a ship before it gives you a fresh Velator.

OK, it works but that's Velators... what about the other Rookie Ships?

repackaging doesn't work afaik. But to get a rookie ship, all you have to do is land in any station where you don't have any ship. In your pod.

Which I tried. And it works. but I wouldn't mind getting hold of other race's rookie ships without the farce of making an alt or 2 (Even more farcical with the 3 char limit)

If you eject from your ships while your still in space but AFTER a station is towing you in both you in your pod AND the ship being towed inside will dock in your hangar. If you realy want some newbie ships just undock in your pod and fly to another station in the system (one you dont have a ship at of course).
