Hey! looking for a reliable/trustworthy/friendly Wingmate/mates who enjoy a good amount of pirating (ransoming in particular) and are willing to give me some experience and teaching on-the-job. A good Tutor you might say, and someone(s) i can count on in a fix.
Not looking to join anything, no corps or alliances. I have one. I just need a good pair of guns and a friendly face.

Well you see. you openly admit you'll be pirating, since adding standings to just you wont have you showup with a red minus in local one is forced to set your entire corp to -10 to see you and know your probably up to no good.
This ofc means that your corpmates whom does not do any shady business might get gunned down for your ehm... qualities.

That is not the point, the point is that your a potential threat since you'll be out flying. Since personal standings set to you wont appear in local one is forced to add whole corps to get a quick response time to reds, this is most sad since you'll be casting a shadow over your corp.
May I suggest you join a pirate corp while your out ransoming, they'll probably teach you to and spare your corpmates any... trouble :-)

I'am posting abit in jest here Kor.
It may be you that want to go out, but you have to realize people dont like getting blown up.
Any intel gained beforehand about someone likely to gun you down is good, sadly right now its only possible to have standings set to corps showup in local which lead me to my statment since your corp will quite possibly, if you do this, be set to - by several corps after having been on the receiving end of your ransoming services =)
I'am just making you aware that if you dont join a corp that wants the added risk of getting minused by several corporations due to a member having some fun, learning the ropes etc, your present corp might get a tad bit upset when it start rolling in they are pirating scumbags.

I can teach you about ransome now if you like. It's right click, open convo, when the guy is in structure
Or for subtlety, as soon as he is scrammed 
Then type something like...50mil
No more detail is needed...
then depending on response, pop him and watch pretty explosion, or warp away and bid him a good day, after checking your wallet of course.
Solo belt piracy is pretty sweet, gate camping is dull but can be good for loot, but if you serious...its easy enough to go to one of these "Eve PVP" courses and get a good ship set up and tactics. You are bound to meet a few like minded guys there.
Have fun...you will die a lot...but you will eventually start to kill a lot more

"The company" is commanded by: So on so forth. It's their chain of command. It's also their main HQ and outposts. Where you can hit them.

If you want someone to pirate with, the C&P forum is usually a good place to start. If you want some general PvP training, EVE University are excellent I'm told, and Agony Unleashed have a decent following too.
Also, people set pirates -10 pretty much automatically, so they get warning when they see you in local. Since setting your personal standings to -ve doesn't have this effect on local, people will set your corp to -10 instead (people don't mind the fact that your non-pirate corp friends are -10 too, because it just means they have redundant warnings. 'Tis nothing personal, 'tis just EVE
