I'm chasing you up at a sprightly 49. But in our Corp we have 2 members both well in their 60's, and they are not quiet players either, both being very active members of our PvPer community.
I have regularly 'bumped' into players who are in their 60's throughout my time in Eve. It does certainly seem to have something that appeals to the 'older gamer'

One of the guys I used to fly with routinely had to go AFK during ops to help tuck his grandchildren in.
EVE is a game that requires a rather more mature outlook on playing than most other MMOs, so I think it's going to appeal to a much broader base of players. ***

A year or so ago there was a thread in out of pod experience asking for people's ages and one of the mods( Zhuge Liang)said he was born in 1927. So he should be turning 80 this year. So 52 is young( compared to him at least).

Hell, I'm 37, part of the reason I like EVE so much is the maturity of the playerbase. Dunno if I'm the oldest in my corp though.

One of the nice things about EVE is its mature clientelle. Ofcource, there are some times I question it, but hey. In general EVE have way better playerbase then any other mmog out there!
So enjoy the game!

We used to have a member that was 74, not sure if he's still active. I'm a mere 40 so I count myself as young.
