Well im pretty new Celes member (3 months or so atm) but fighting style of this corp is WAY different from what i have seen in alliance or small skirmish warfare. And different in positive meaning of this word - it just PWNS :)

Every serious pirate should take an extra look behind their back from now on. I remember this corp from the early days and if they still have a few veterans around they probably will cause alot of trouble for the target they pick. I think also that the situation is a bit different from back then. Nowadays most proper pirate corps have a few scouting alts scattered on the route to spot incoming hostiles. That will maker catching pirates abit harder then in the old days.
Well anyway, good luck with this direction you have taken.

One important change to pirate hunting is the wcs nerf. Pirates have to take higher risks without them but as you said the use of scouts is now more common. Hopefully it will be some good fights.

Good luck Celest.... Going to miss you guys... Some of the fights we had were great fun. You taught our corp quite a few things and they work well on our enemies (including yourself) Now go teach the ebil pirates a thing or two....

cheers for being cool in this thread guys.. having a certain alliance unable to post on EVE-O prob helped .
seems eve is really crying out for pirate hunters the now. its a very rewarding way to play eve.
ill be doing a full standings re-set over the next few days (obviously some are exempt). We dont shoot neutrals so this isnt your usual standings reset thats about getting more targets, this will actually give us less but should bring us closer to the actual full time pirate hunting thing. we have decided that a corp that shot us in 2003 prob doesnt deserve to still be -10 .
This now means only corps/alliances that shoot us should be -10, we will be shooting bad security guys of -5.0 or worse no matter what corp or alliance u are in.

Dear Crime and Pun, I am Kublai, semi-famous forum profesional and loved flamer, normally I will be the first person to laugh at such posts and tell people how much of a waste it is.
But in this case..if you have a problem do as the man says, they'll **** kick those pirates all the way back to jita and not charge you a single isk for the favour.

I get the feeling theres a wee bit of crossed wires and unneccessary smack in this thread. We should probably try and differentiate between people that are joking and people that are actually being nasty. There is very little of the latter so far. Pretty much everything thats been said is in jest, lets keep it that way :)
