In conjunction with the opening of Port Sanctuary shortly (pushed back 3-4 weeks possibly) the SPCS would like the Amarr community and those who have an interest in the betterment of the lessor races to help recognize those who have done so much for the slaver community and ensuring the standards of the SPCS.
To this end we are asking you the community to nominate people for the following awards. Nominations can be made below in a post or via evemail to me Lord Murkon if you wish privacy. Once the nominations have been assembled (one week or so) I will post a voting thread with a link to an outside Amarrian poll source where you will be able to register to vote (only once) and watch the progress as it occurs.
After voting is complete the awards will be dedicated to the winners at Port Sanctuary's grand opening. Note all winners must clear security screening to actually attend the ceremony while those who do not will be mailed their plaque.
NOMINATION CATEGORIES
Slaver Corporation of the Year -
The corporation that best exemplifies the concepts of slavery and the path to redemption.
Slaver of the Year -
The individual slaver that best exemplifies the concepts of slavery and the path to redemption in his individual bearing.
Religious Figure of the Year -
The religious figure who most inspires slaves to reach redemption.
Slave Hauling Ship of the Year -
The ship that makes the best slave hauling vessel.
Corporation that aided slavery intentionally -
A corporation that worked to aid the cause of slavery as a whole.
Corporation that aided slavery accidently =
A corporation that through its acts unintentionally aided the cause of slavery.
Please nominate your candidates and we will do the official vote in about a week or two via an outside poll. Nominate as many as you wish for each category! Final voting will put the top two in each category head to head with each other.

For that award I nominate Ushra'Khans executor corp.
Through their uncompromising (or perhaps "fanatical" is a better word) they have weakened the bonds between the minmatar pod-pilot alliances, severely damaged the ties between pod-pilots and the planetbound (as represented by the Republic) minmatars and alienated (or weakened the position of) the moderates.
All in all few entities in EVE have done so much to strenghten our cause and illuminate its righteousness.
P.S: As for the "Religious Figure of the Year", how do you define "religious"? Is it necessarily a self-announced prophet or priest, or is it merely a person whose piety and perseverance serves to be a role-model for all Amarr (slave and true citizen alike) and thus strive for salvation?
Or to paraphrase, does the nominee have to have an explicitly religious intent with his/her words and actions?

I should have been more clear on this thank you for asking. It can be any of the above it does not have to be a religious leader or a priest of any kind it can be someone who simply lives by the directives of God with piety and perseverance as you asked. No explicit religious intent need be inferred in fact I encourage the nominations of those in the background who live this kind of life without title.

I am sorry but I cant think of anybody who puts more energy or commitment into spreading gods word then him.
He is truly a beacon of faith, not only for slaves!

I'm sure Archbishop would be honored by your vote of confidence however I forgot to mention that members of the SPCS are ineligible for awards and may not vote thus as Archbishop is our Director he can not be nominated.

I nominate First Praetorian Guard for this award. Their methods and reputation are legendary.

I'm not sure if it's permitted to nominate them, but I believe that the SPCS is hard to beat here.
