Tonight was a rather vicious fight out here in the new regions, kudos to F4T4L and TOXIN, no Privateer in sight though. Is this seriously an "empire only" thing?

Virt, its actually kind of flattering. Privateers has soooo many war decs out, that for them to spend the millions to war dec us, we must be important! It's like making a who's who list.

Privateers war deck any body the have still the war deck on fallen souls
so is noting new, but is always fun to kill some Privateers

This isn't the story I hear. I hear the Privateers are thumping the alliances in empire pretty hard. Also, if you think about it, the entire point of a war dec is to fight in empire. Expecting a war dec to result in privateers coming out in 0.0 is illogical. If they wanted to privateer in 0.0, they would just do it.

I think now that there are real wars going on the amount of interest (however small to begin with) in privateers and their sporadic wardecs will have totally evaporated.
Sorry guys but i think u were just space fillers for everyone till the real events start to unfold.

Who'd you hear that from, the Privateers? Last I remember seeing of them we were still in ASCN and camping them into the station at Jita.

YYYAAWWWNNN if Privateer's used anything but snack-sized frig/cruiser gangs in Jita i'd possibly give a damn. It's about as threatening as a gang of hoody clad 14 year old's hanging around outside the local supermarket. And no, i'm not buying any of them ciggies or beer.

Don't underestimate them! If it wasn't for the privateers softening us up before your invasion we'd have kicked you back to empire before you'd even got a cyno up...
After 26 losses (including a wallet busting single battleship kill!) during the weeks war to this formidable fighting force our mighty industrial division was strained to breaking point.

I'm curious as to why people feel the need to declare the fact that they have been wardecced by Priv. Apparently you're not privy to the fact that they wardec anyone?
It's privateers, Even ascn remnants could pound them into dust. Hell I used the same blackbird for the whole duration of our war with them. 29 kills and not a single loss. Privateers are nothing special people, really

Of course they're not special. But they have special concept of gameplay - that is what makes them interesting.

At least its easy to get kills off them. I've managed to kill a caracal and a fully t2 fitted Maelstrom already, with 0 losses.

I am having a lot of fun fighting in empire :) got so tired of going ****loads of jumps in 0.0 just to se everyone logoff when u enter a local.. :( and u can easy get more ammo \o/
