Is anyone else having issues with their launcher, where you keep opening it up and it's just blank, then won't go away? Old launcher not the new weird one.

I have yet to encounter this issue. What error message are you getting?
I use the contemporary launcher, seems to work fine. I would recommend you to reinstall, or maybe try the new version.

No error message, just either a blank black rectangle or a plain white window with the title bar, and I have to task manager it to close it. If I close and relaunch it a bunch of times it works, but weirdly it's often got me still logged in. For now I just slung together a quick up a powershell script so I can bypass it. If it's not something other people are experiencing it's probably just I need to do a quick restart or something.

Aye, same problem here.
This is the first launcher that I have ever had problems with.
Perhaps the good folk at CCP should buy and use skill injectors then fix the problem. :)

Yup, having problems, it's just black, probably can't open the background image or the news or whatever. I'd guess some server or service is down. |

Try running the EVE repair tool. You will find it in the directory you installed EVE in. |

Sure, but wtf changed? Was running fine yesterday AFTER the patch, and I didn't make any changes to my computer at all. |

It's fine for me (and the other thirty thousand pilots online), so it's not a global issue.
Not a great help, I know, but it gives you a starting point for your troubleshooting.

Mine turned up with black screen even after clearing the cache and getting the latest launcher. Can at least run repair.exe to patch up and bypass it but would still be neat if it works properly.

Note the key in Lucas's post. "Old Launcher".
Solution, get the new launcher.
Also PD is meant to have 0 in the submission history since that was the number of slides you had waiting enough consensus to affect your score. Since only test slides affect your score now and they are instant, there are no pending slides. |
