Straight Outta Wormholes (SOWHs) is a PVP-centric wormhole corporation looking to garner new members interested in living in w-space. There is no experience requirement to join us; veterans and new players alike are welcome! Similarly, there is no SP requirement to apply. We understand that everyone has to start somewhere with both their skills and experience which is why we have no requirements for them. Not to say we don't have any requirements, though. The only thing we ask of you is to be happy and ready to learn because we're happy and ready to teach you!
Our favorite activity (and a lot of what you'll be doing) is to engage in glorious space combat! We form fleets for nearly every fight, even if there's a large chance of losing; it's all about having fun fighting in the end. Combat is not cheap, so to make our isk we enter the combat anomalies that are generated within wormholes and kill the 'Sleeper' NPCs for valuable loot which is sold later. SOWHs offers a buyback program for this sleeper loot (known as blue loot), as well as most items found withing a wormhole such as Data/Relic site loot, salvaged parts, and harvested gas clouds. This buyback program means you do not need to risk hauling your precious loot; simply sell it back to the corp and get your payout in less than a day!
There is no required amount of participation of any kind; no minimum buyback per month, no minimum ships kill number, or anything dumb like that. While we don't track participation, we do simply ask you to be active in the chain, especially in conjunction with others to run combat sites or to form up for PVP.
You'll find that we are a very friendly and relaxed group of players, except when raving and cheering about the gudfite we just won, relaxed . Everyone is more than happy to help you out and field your questions, whether it be asking for fitting or skill advice, questions relating to wormhole PvE, or just asking "Does anyone have any repair paste"?

The only real requirement we have is that you are able to fly a scanning ship properly, meaning a Covert Ops cloak. |
