Yeah think of the Geddon as a "glass cannon" and don't be afraid to lose one. In terms of cost vs. effectiveness its the best gank battleship in the game.

What about for small gang/gate camp geddon?
Right now its fitted with
High: 7x mega pulse Mids: 2x sensor bosters (fast lock) and a tracking computer. Lows: 3x HS II, DC, 2x named 1600mm plate, Mark I CPR, and a MAR II.
Rigs: 3x CCC
CPU left: 9.40 PG left:, not sure.. around 2000. Have engineering V, Electronics IV and currently training WU to V.
This lets me run my guns forever, and can run the MAR II as long as i'm not useing Multi lenses. with not-so-good gun skills I have 26k base optimal with the Tracing comp turned on.
the plates gives me about 17,500 armor. I tried fitting a regular tank, but my CPU wouldn't let me without removing all but 1 Heatsink. But in my opinion, more damage is the better tank, a dead enemy does zero DPS (not to mention its more fun)

too much cap not enough armour drop sensor booster for a med injector (enough to run your guns tbh and you dont need to sustain them forever anyway) fit 3 trimark armour hp rigs, swap cpr for another plate

well the 3 CCC rigs are pretty much stuck. I'm not the richest bloak ever, so i don't want to waste them.
I have them in there because it was originally a ratting ship, then i realised i could do more damage in a Caracal because gruistas have stupidly high em and thermal resist for shield tankers (80% em, 60% therm.. )
But as far as chaning to the cap injector and adding another plate instead of the CPR, everything else look ok? Would an EANM be better than another plate?

Yeah for PVP, using a cap booster frees up a lot of slots to fit something useful instead of cap recharge mods. I'd suggest using that geddon with the 3 cap recharge rigs for ratting and get another one (no rigs) as a throwaway PVP ship.

You've got to be kidding... Nanogeddon? I hate nanoship enough as it is, I don't join the I-WIN fotm setups. I perfer the underdog... Seems to be the pattern in MMO's that the thing everyone whines most about gets overlynerfed and near useless.. and the undenderpowered stuff gets overlybuffed and uber

Which gets you around 1800m/s with a sig the size of the moon for no appreciable benefit and will run out of cap pdq.

That's the tradeoff for beeing amarr. Ya know, good optic, bad performance. ________________ Kali 2.0 Patchnotes; "Cleared old and useless Database entries":

Theres nothing wrong with Amarr, having used a geddon in fleet ops and gotten on most killmails I have no complaints about them. They just aren't nanoworthy.

Although historically I would agree with you, rigs make this not be the case anymore.
Personally I would go with 7 mega beam II, tracking comp II, sensor boost II, cap rech II, 3 heat sink II, RCU II, tracking enhancer II, cap power relay II, LAR II, EANM II and resist rigs. You will have descent resists and can dish out some real damage.

here the setup pi use most of the time...and i can tell it does wonders everytime I take it to battle
high
4 Mega pulse laser II 3 Dual heavy pulse laser II 1 Large 'knave' Energy drain I
medium
Medium electrochemical capacitor booster I(18x 800's) Warp diruptor I 'Langour' Drive disruptor
low
1 Large 'Accommodation' vestment reconstructer 1 Internal Force Field Array 2 Adaptive Nano plate II (or dark blood) 2 1600mm Reinforced rolled tungsten plates I 2 Heat sink II
drone
5 berserker I
rigs
1 Anti-Kinetic Pump I 1 Anti-Thermic Pump I 1 Anti-explosive Pump I
roughly
you get 600 dps using scorch and 730 using conflagration (not counting drone) optimal being 45/42(SCORCH) AND 15/12(CONFLAG)and with falloff you get around 58km as top range......hence why no need for a AB or MWD
you have resist with compensation skill at level 3
Em 74 Ex 61 Kin 64 therm 68
with around 19000 armor
and as long as i have charge...1/22sec ....for 418sec capacitor have no issues to run everything including the repairer
Enjoy:)

Build them. If you really think about it the time you spend salvaging and building is not worth the price. If you really want to buy them it would be about 100 mil.

I would sugest going dual heavy pulse t2 all the way. With a -3% cpu implant wich costs about 2 mil you will have plenty of grid \ cpu.
Main problem i can see with that setup is getting in range. Without a sensor booster you will have problems locking down even non istab\nano battleships. Sinking isk into a tank that wont hold is not my thing tbh.
Using geddon as a punch, yes. Other than that, id say you could do better with harbinger :)

Heavy Capacitor Booster X5 weber or sensor booster 20k scrambler or sensor booster
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II 1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I 1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I Large Armor Repairer II Dark Blood Adaptive Nano Plating Dark Blood Adaptive Nano Plating Heat Sink II Heat Sink II
5 ogres t2

HIGH:
7x Mega Pulse Laser II
Medium:
This is the tricky part, for gangs i usually fit 1x named heavy cap injector, 2x sensorbooster II
for solo i swap one sensorbooster for a named 20km scram
low: 2x Rolled Tungsten 1600mm, 3x Heat Sink II, 2x faction EANM or T1, 1x Named Damage control.
this gives me 18k armor with an average resistance of 57%.
5x Berserker I's or 5x Berserker SW-900.
I can fit all T2 if i have a 3% turret cpu implant and dual heavy beams/pulses.
As for long range fleet,
7x T2 tachs, 3x Sensorbooster I 3x Heatsink II, 2-3x Tracking enhancers, 2x RCU II or 3x RCU I. Pending on what i have in stock.
