My corp has recently had GM alt join us for a long while, only towards the end of his employ in my corp did he give me what he knew about the other GM's. Basicly they can give one another infinite ammounts of isk and equip. Now while this is'nt suppost to be going on, i think sometimes they let it slide. Besides that, GM alts know where all the good farming spots are, ore, npc drops etc. So as a result they are the first to get the Uber gear. Not to mention using exploits free of concequence.
So why do they do this? Well no one would'nt like having all the advantages in battle and pwning everyone, obviously. But they tell me it's to make EVE more fun, and it needs more pirates. Wow, i wonder who is having the fun here. Until CCP is gonna come clean and announce which pirate characters are GM's publicly I will always have a low opinion of their accountability standards. But I do know which corps have the GM alt advantage and i suggest ppl just avoid them so they can't have any fun. I was told by a GM that m00, SI, Care Bears on weed, the gang, killer klowns and biomass all have GM alts. Don't bother fight what you can't win cause of uber gear and exploits. And even if you do win, your exploiting. Make life boring for them and maybe they'll get back to their job like awnsering petitions!!

I honestly dunno if some of my mates is a GM alt, if he gave someone bloody free ISKs, uber gear and so on, if he played exploits free of consequences, etc. etc.
The only thing that I can say for sure is that I have NEVER had an ISK that I did not deserve...

Viceroy, you probably are a GM alt. How come no one stopped m00 from using the warp-cancel exploit in Gehi? Why do they get away with all this stuff initially, then get a slap on the wrist by CCP 'bad GM's' then they stop for a while then go use a new exploit.
Yes i am serious, i happen to know the person who gave me the info was a GM. He was'nt suppost to tell me so i won't mention names and get him in trouble but he seemed to be able to materialize 100's of millions of isk and he said he was a GM so i am inclined to belive him.

I am a GM alt, I regularly supply corps that I like with free isk and battleships. Sometimes when im bored I sit in 1.0 space blowing up noobs and their pods with my GM powers, cause I like the sound of *****ing pods. I fly a Titan for mining ops.
I also just removed all money from you account and neutered your ingame character so he wont reproduce
ever.

I don't need to do anything to make eve die. CCP already does that by whacking us with the nerf-bat repeatedly and not keeping control of their GM's activties. Power corrups, this is inevitable, so if they have nothing to hide and are legit, how come CCP does'nt come out with a formal list of GM alts so everyone knows who they are. That way we can be sure they are'nt cheating.

Not the only person to tell me about the GM's. Personal experince tells me it's true as well, an incident at aurohen where SI tries to make me look bad, and has insta-gm help standing by to call me an exploiter.
I got it figured out, the game gets flaws or exploits in it. If they are deliberate or not remains to be seen but obviously GMs will know about it first so they have a window of oppertunity to use it before CCP declairs it an exploit and says u can't do that. So by the time the rest of us get to try to use them we get threats of banning / etc. Then the pirates seem to move on to another one.
Like JIP-lag camping. Pirates started that first. Now it's called an exploit, convinently after everyone knew how to use it. Now there is the cancel warp exploit. Funny how there always on top of what the next trick is... Engneered flaws? U decide.

Hi everyone.
GMs are allowed to play the game as any other players. Using GM tools to advance through the game is grounds for immediate dismissal and could have catastrophic effects on anyone unlucky enough to share a corporation with the perpetrator, as the corporations' assets would likely be seized and confiscated and the corp possibly disbanded. This is a fictional scenario, by the way, since we have not had reason to do this yet.
GMs are allowed to join any corporation they want. The only criteria they must meet is to follow the rules and we also expect GMs to refrain from using questionable tactics of any kind, whether they are classified as exploits or not. So in fact, GMs are somewhat disadvantaged compared to other players, as their every move is monitored and they are not allowed to use the underhanded tactics favoured by many players.
The accusations levelled at the GM team by Treylon are false, and I urge him and anyone else that believes they have some information pertaining to corruption within the GM team, to send it in through the proper channels and include all relevant player and GM names. Dropping vague hints like this is tantamount to slander and can not be taken seriously.
I want to thank those of you who stood up for us in this thread and I'll now close it as I do not believe there is anything left to add to this subject.
