Are all the roids crap? is there less roids. Or is not about roids what is it about ?
And how empty are they really empty ? or is it all blown out of proportion ?

Amarr controls by far the largest space in the game, and has one of the lowest populations. Thus empty space. :)
Its realy not that bad, but it is noticable.

There is nothing intrinsically "wrong" with Amarr space. It has pretty much all the same stuff any other region has.
I think it is more to do with starting populations. I do not know for a fact but I would bet Amarr are the least picked race from the start. Their ships are largely gimped and their backstory portrays them as a singularly despicale race (slavers). As more people gravitate to other races (notably Caldari which I think are by far the most popular choice) their regions become more attractive. By having more players in them you find easier access to mods and ships at generally lower prices because of the competition. A higher population density then naturally draws the pirates that way. Add in that Caldari are sorta between Gallente and Minmatar space means even more people stuffed in there. Amarr are sorta out of the way.
Put it all together and in time you see the imbalance I think you are describing. While there is nothing wrong with Amarr space there is no mechanism to draw people back there. Even with heavily populated space there is still plenty of ore to mine and missions to do and whatnot. Bottom line is why bother to live in Amarr space? Certainly you can make a go of it there but nothing particularly compelling to draw people in.

Kind of harsh, amarr have just as many good ships as any other race does, look at any major player fleet, there will be a good showing of amarr ships.
At lower levels the punisher is one of the top frigates, can be argued it is the best tech I frigate -----------------------------------------------

I think it is safe to say most people think Amarr ships need help in relation to what other race's ships can do (indeed the Devs are even looking in to it). Barring the Punisher and Pilgrim (and maybe a Gankageddon) I doubt there is an Amarr ship that isn't eclipsed by a ship of another race. No, they do not all need to be uber but their limited damage types, heavy reliance on cap with NOS everywhere (not to mention half of the Amarr ships needing to blow a ship bonus just to fire their lasers) and almost complete castration at the hands of a tracking disruptor leaves Amarr ships wanting overall.

It's because the Amarr are smelly. ;)

Actually, I feel the fact that we keep slaves only adds to our charm.
And, I keep my slave well washed, don't I, my pet?

Mine tend to not last long enough to actually make washing them worth the cost of the water and soap.

Amarr are by far the least popular race (for the above mentioned roleplaying reasons as well as their ships). Just look at Jita, or the Forge in general to get an idea of how close to home many empire players remain.
There is also the fact that Amarr space has Kernite as 3rd tier ore (the most valuable ore to be found in empire space). Most miners prefer Omber over Kernite because of the higher Isogen/M3 yield. This makes Amarr, Amatar and Gallente space less popular than Caldari and Minmatar space for miners.
Mind you i rather work a system full of Kernite without any rivals in it than compete over a few scraps of Omber with a dozen other miners. And with Kernite comes Pyroxeres, the only empire ore to yield Nocxium.

I'm a total new player, just started yesterday, rolled Amarr just yesterday, basically I just wanted to get into the game, so i didn't put a significant amount of thought behind my character. Somehow I ended up with low stats in everything except like 19 willpower haha. Did I mess up? Are Amarr ships really going to leave lacking later on? It's not too late to reroll

I would never reroll because of ships. That's what cross training is for and if you start early the time lost is negligeble. As for the stats, you have to decide that for yourself. Ship flying skills will come very rapidly, but anything else will train at a snail's pace. If you want to try out a bit of everything before settling down at something you want to specialize in, it might be better to get a more balanced set of attributes. |

I chose Amarr for roleplaying reasons. They are similar to ancient rome/persia and also the Romulans from Star Trek. I know their ships are weak for now, but I think they look the best. For now I like living in the empty countryside rather than the busy city with lag and cans lying around.
It also seems more empty because Amarr is the biggest empire.

Do you re-use Toilet Paper? Because that would be the same concept. They are just Matar for God's sake. You act like they are actually worth something.

Not everyone in Amarr care to have slaves or like the idea of slaves, but this new Amarr race looks cool with the shiny hat.
Infact my Magnus PC here like to help out the Minmatar.
