Honest reviews, be they good or bad, should be encouraged. Hopefully everyone will take a bit of time to go write one, however mmorpg.com does make you jump through a couple of hoops before you are allowed to write any reviews so be warned of that.

Your right, we should all go and vote how we view this game overall. If your asking us to do this because of recent events then read below, in not, then go vote your hearts out.
Did the devs actions directly affect me? No. Do I disagree with how the handled the situation? Yes. I've played this game for 6 months and to say this one incident affects me in such a way to sway my entire vote for the game EVE is rediculous. If it really has affected those who play this game, then they need to take a break, take a smoke, do whatever. Come back and remember why you love playing this game.

yep holding for it myself as soon as i have rank 5 that is.. also tryign to visit all mmorpg related site to spread the word since every attempt to talk about it here is "nerfed". while i am looking for new game to play..

Yes, for some, EVE is definately a game to play.
I only hope that my 'glowing' comments on the MMORPG site lead to CCP getting the review they've cultivated from long-time players such as myself.

Eve was first for the past 2 or 3 years, have only just dropped from that position in the last few days due to the recent "problems"

Considering we are now a tenth below games whenever we used to be a tenth above...scary times ahead for MMORPG and EVE if the hate monger players keep leaving fissy reviews. That's how I ended up on EVe-Online.

I have played a few mmo's in my time and whenever I am interested in something else, I go there and check the hype. Read a few comments to get the general feeling if there is a point or not to play the game. And I have to agree that when I read about EVE atm it's not nice.
The game rocks in terms of immersion, stuff to do, bleeding edge pvp, but just when you start to get excited about it, you read about corruption in the ranks of the devs and it will be a big turnoff for new members.
Especially MMORPG.com has always had a LOT of EVE players (wonder why it won the best mmo title few years in a row and was nr 1 mmo for a VERY long time there) and now CCP sees what it means being on the bad side with it's subscribers. No more nice reviews. No more being the nr 1 mmorpg (nr 4 atm and im sure falling even more). No more people bragging to other game players how good our developers are in communicating with us. We the players make or break a game there. And yes after CCP locked threads where people could ask questions and vent themselves, people moved on to other forums, one of them being mmorpg.
And what the sad part of all this is is that we have not yet hit the rock bottom with this scandal. Worst is yet to come.

Which could be CCP kicking itself if they are taking it MMORPG. I dare say that no other site provides as many new accounts as MMORPG. It's got to be one of the primary catalysts for growth.
