This does not make any sense to me at all. I am not alone in feeling this way. You are given the opportunity to create three characters, completely separate from each other... yet only able to train one at a time. This is absurd since you can not transfer skills from one character to the other. We pay for a game to get a game and not a crippled feature that is virtually useless. Please reconsider this and possibly remedy this in an upcomming patch.

why would you ever need to specilize in anything if you could train 3 accounts? One fighter, one science guy and one mining guy. No one would ever need to specilize and everyone would be the same. ---------------------------------------

Not a lot, no. It's useful to have a second character for when your first one is stuck; or just to wander around in a crappy ship exploring at no risk (you don't care if he dies or not). But otherwise, they're basically waste paper.

dunno i find them pretty usefull.
my main is a combat guy, my second character is an agent mission guy, created with as much charisma as possible and trained up just enough to fly a cruiser and an industrial so he can do all lvl 3 agent missions my final guy is a throwaway guy usefull for scouting

The guy is right. 3 characters but only one can learn. Its false advertising.

it really is just pure stupidity. everyone has an opinion... But it boils down to EITHER OFFER THREE CHARACTERS OR DON'T, don't offer us three with the option to only "really" play one. someone at ccp needs to pull their head out of their arse and start thinking when they come up with these ideas before they implement these things... "does this make sense?".

you can't train all three at once so you cant share your account. Thinking that you guys could oversee this baffels me. The reason for having three characters is so that if you for whatever reason got board of your first character or what not, you have the option to create a new one and start off fresh. However, because you have three characters you will not waste the time put into the first as you will always eventually be able to go back to that character. _______________________________________________________ Get custom sigs and graphics done here Unforgivn Website

You're an ignorant noob. Honestly many people think there should only be one, but you CANT be able to train all three at the same time. That would ruin the game. In fact, I know some people who share their account, but it just means they have to take turns training.
Really, take a chill pill and think for a minute about what would happen if you could train up 3 chars at the same time. Lol.

There's ever reason to use 3 characters, even if you can only train one at a time.
Want a research guy? Work out the best way to START the character, then train only the science stuff. Then on your main, say, get a good starting combat character and only train combat stuff. You know have one account with both abilities in LESS time than it would have taken to train it all on one with less than optimal starting skills and attributes for one, the other, or both lines of work.

Now go back and read her post properly, since that wasn't her complaint.

I think that if we were allowed to train all 3 character continuesly forever would make everybody eaches equal, but I think that there should be 1 exception from that 1 training per account, and that is training skills to lvl 1, and if you try to train skills to lvl 2+ while other character is training you would get a slightly modified normal message, doing this would make it little easier for starting other characters
and now you all gonna be saying doohh, just log into the other character and stop training while you train the other character to lvl 1, it's only 20-40min,
but it would become a quite bother always logging into the other character to change the skill and train to other lvl 1, and since only basic items require lvl 1 skills I think it should be ok to let us train skills to lvl 1 without the restrictions, even if the Skill Point increase was 1/3 what it should
