why not putting a unlearn option in the game for your skills ? Like for example your a amarr char and you learn hybrids skill to lvl 3 and later when you played more and longer get more expiriance with the game you see that you didn't really needed that skill and you want to get rid of it then you just right click the skill and select unlearn then maybe a option if you just wanna decrease it or just simple completly get rid of it but it also downgardes your skillpoints according howmutch skillpoints you had in that skill , cause i know when i started my char i wanted him completly combat but i still have my mining skill from in the character creation and you couldn't do anything about that cause back then you always had that skill one way or anathor but not now with the new system , anyway yea just a suggestion.idea for putting in the game dunno if people are going to like it or not but yea some might do

Why? All that programming time just to reduce clone costs a tiny bit?
No. Fix other, more important things first. Maybe then.

Why would you ever want to get rid of a learned skill? Even if say you don't use it all the time, you might want to use it someday.
How about "donate SP", you delete all the SP you don't want, they come to me and I add them to whatever I want. :)

The problem with that is, you could "dissolve" all your current skills and then "pour" them into combat skills, which could be very abusable. I could turn my Industrial into a potential combat god in a matter of seconds, as I have ~1m in Industry and another ~1m in Science. I could quickly "pour" these over into my combat skills and become a much more effective combatant without the hassle of training combat skills in the first place!
Perhaps make it so you can reassign the SP, but there's a ~2 day time limit (ie, I drain 1 level out of Mining 5 on Tuesday, and can then spend the regained SP on Thursday) and you can only drain/unlearn 1 level of a skill at a time.
Alternately, make it a reverse of the training method. You can unlearn a skill in the place of learning a skill. It takes half as long to untrain as it did to train, and you can "funnel" the SP gained from that into another skill - catch is, it takes as long as it takes to fully unlearn that skill. You can't stop part way through. Though the skill the SP are being "funneled" to can gain multiple levels. ~~ I'm in ur belts minin' ur roids. |
