In 1984, a Marxist-led group called the PKK, the Kurdistan Workers Party, began an armed struggle against the government. If a party starts an armed struggle against you, you would not fight back?
And if you are referring to the 2 million armenians killed in 1914-1923, well the allies did attack what was then the "Ottoman Empire." Get your facts straight buddy...

He killed well over a million people. Mainly by internal genocide which always kills many more then war in non democratic regimes. The Kurds and Shai suffered greatly. Many died in his his wars on Iran and in his crushing of uprisings. Many more died in his unwillingness to comply with international law and misused of food for oil funds. While the Kurdish north mortality rates dropped, the ****** controlled areas increased under the sanction.
No one should accept non elected, non democratic regimes. This is great news for Iraq.
