Let's think a bit ahead in time and assume the pressure on the band will be so high that wit will disband. But what will happen then ?
1. What will happen to the corps ? Will other alliances try to recruit ex-bob-corps - or will there be a policy like "they are too dangerous to be kept alive" and the attacks will continue until the corps aswell fall apart ?
2. And even more interesting: what will happen to the big and profitable space ? I simply can't imagine Goonswarm and D2 sharing delve in a peacefull way. Will they sell the space to a third party ? Or will Goonswarm pay off D2 so they can stay there whilst D2 moving back to north ? Or will they fight each other as soon the band disbands ? If so, when will they start ? Will they first recover a bit or will they already fall in their former allied's back in the very last days of bob, before the fights have ended, in order to have a nice surprice effect ?
Are there any plans of the anti-bob-coalition for the day after ?

We will come to that road when we get there (Which we won't so no worries).
Why all this talk of BoB being doomed?
They are still alive at the moemnt and thats all that matters. They don't even look like dying at the moment, the moment they do maybe these posts will have relevance, until then. IBTL!

The worst, WORST thing that could happen to BoB is them moving back into empire for a short while to rebuild, and then strike back someplace else in the universe, and re-conquer some 0.0 space.
They're not the types to 'disband'.

Well, different things happen to alliances when they are defeated. Some disband, some relocate and stay together. ASCN disbanded because they felt that it was pointless to hold onto the name with so many of the corps going different ways.
One thing to note is that BoB is only five corps. Its not like some alliances (ASCN) that have over a dozen random corps of various sizes. One of the reasons they have been so successful is because they have a core group of very dedicated people who work together very well. It seems highly unlikely that they would end that relationship even if half or more of the less dedicated pilots left as a result of the defeat.
I also find it highly unlikely that even in the worst case scenario the core systems of BoB would fall. Even with half their numbers deserting in the face of adversity, they would still have a very hardcore group of dedicated players to defend their homeland. Also, I feel that the anti-BoB coalition's fervor would probably wane if they got that far. Its hard waging a long distance war, and if they felt they had won the war they may not feel like putting the effort into grinding through those last systems. But, even if they did fall, I really don't think BoB would throw away such good chemistry. They would relocate, rebuild, and reconquer.
Finally, the anti-BoB coalition only really came to final fruition in the last few months. After BoB they will go back to what they were doing before, fighting each other, expanding their neighboring territory. Someone (maybe D2 or RAGOON) may become considered the new BoB, but it is unlikely that one entity would be able to fill those shoes immediately.

I don't see BoB disbanding. They are a close group held together by friends at the top of the chain.
What I do look forward to is the moment all BoB space is taken. I'm sure the allied forces are in for a surprise when they think the worst is over once BoB lost all its space. Can you say massive capital fleet roaming alliance?
Would be funny if BoB started popping random alliance's infrastructure. ------

All these "what do we do when BoB is dead" threads are so speculative its bordering retarded. BoB & Co. will not be here today gone in a week, or a month or a year even IF they were to loose their space.
Any number of scenarios are possible at all different levels and terms - its far from a case of "dead or alive". Think about some real life wars ... take the Iraq situation, not exactly a clean cut win or lose is it.

Why that would haveto happen? Why not just shoot down all the defending POSses, steal sov with one of your own expendable POS, then wait for them to retake it with a blob of POSses, shoot those down, rinse and repeat. It'll be a lot more taxing to the target and much more fun for offenders --- Currently between places, sorry for any inconveniances this may cause. --- oh and sorry for the oversized sig pic...

BoB has a core. So do many other alliances. Even if you remove all their stations, poses, industry, and etc, they still have the core of people who will play.
You can't attack an alliance what they don't have any space to defend. BoB will disband if the players get bored with the game, not if the game somehow challenges them too much.
This is true for any corp or alliance that has a dedicated core of pilots.

Im soooo looking forward to the day that smoeone from Goon, or RA, or D2 makes an "infamous" post offering BoB corps free passage out if they surrender.
I wonder what the reaction will be.

Im more interested in his answer. After everyone in ASCN gave BoB the big STFU everyone slated them for benig stupid, having an oppurtunity to leave but not taking it.
That included BoB's populus.
I wonder what will be said when BoB are made the same deal.

Who knows...
Many veteran players reside under the BoB flag, perhaps they will either quit EVE or become industrialists.

Heh..I bet they won't disband, regardless of circumstances, past, present or in the future.
