So I am bored in space. Took this picture from Khanid lowsec.

It is just me or do those look like massive drifter or sleeper structures in the dust cloud on the right?
Probably just me though :) |

I think it's just you, that and more precisely, the image quality of the background nebula not being very sharp especially when zoomed in. Being bored does that to ya, you brain's looking for something to do.

Nice theory, could be possible but highly doubtful.
In order to see those structures at the very least they would have to be the size of a large moon.

But I think even large planets would not be sufficient as this nebula is so far away. In Jove space in fact.

Here is the closest look of the remains of Caroline's Star you can see from Perrigen Falls iirc https://imgur.com/igmUGsx because it is located in Jove-Space, where we still can't go.

Nice pics, Mark.
To tell the truth, there's no telling whether Sleepers, Drifters, or anyone could have set up there if at all. A recent nova or super/hyper nova event could, so long as someone had a safe means to doing so, be potentially a treasure trove of resources to collect, both basic and exotic. I'm no NASA-level astrologist, but there's bound to be literal tons of rare and valuable materials in that pocket.
As far as any such structures being visible and detectable this far out, maybe...maybe not. Hell we have trouble just "seeing" planets many times more massive than Jupiter in neighboring star systems that have planets, and by seeing, I mean we don't actually see them, rather we see the evidence that would suggest that a planet is there. If the tech allowed it in Eve, it might be possible to detect signs of artificial bodies in that area, but I doubt anyone could actually see them from where we are.

Since its already been divulged that the star went supernova and the stellar swarm was destroyed in totality I think it's logical to assume there's nothing left. |

That structure? It was built by the Talocans, beyond ancient. It was likely the reason the Second Empire Jove became self destructive when they realized what the implications of what that device ment. |
