in my 3 years of playing eve ive never once ventured outside of amarr / minmatar and i was looking to move on to a taranis and i was wondering whats a nice setup for a ranis given the excessive use of webbs now a days. ps. sorry for the post on the alt im at work and no time to post from the main

yeah thats what i was gonna shoot for just wasn't sure if maybe switch to rails/diruptor and hand out outide of med nos/web range

WTF? Rails with a 7.5k... might as well switch to blasters.

yeah no 20km scram defeats the purpose of putting rails and getting out of webb range :-\

A common setup is:
3x Light Ion Blaster IIs
1x Small Knave Nos
1x 1mn MWD II
1x X5 Web
1x Faint Warp Scram
1x SAR II
1x MagStab II
1x MAPC
Fits with average fitting skills and does very nice damage

i just have to add: this does more dps then your neutron setups without MFS's
(if you want neutrons + SAR II you need 2x MAPC which is lame)

yup. and there'sa reason why it's common which is because it really does work. for safer ceptor combat go with rails and 20km scram but this setup does very nice dps for a ceptor
