It is my pleasure to re-introduce the New Life Program, now operating under the project name of Phoenix. For those familiar with the New Life and New Life 2.0 programs, you will already know the bulk of what we do, however, for those new pod pilots, or those who have not yet heard of us, there is a short history and introduction to our purpose.
The New Life Program was started some time ago by Takitoo, as I do believe. It was then restarted as New Life 2.0 at which time I first became involved, and Phoenix is the current incarnation, which I have started, based on the previous ventures. In all of its forms, the New Life Program has sought to help those unfortunates who have been slaves re-adjust to a free life. This is done through both counseling and work training, helping to restore the individuals sense of self worth and self determination. All of these efforts are conducted by trained individuals, certified as teachers, and medical and mental health specialists. After this period, the former slaves are given a shuttle ticket to their destination of choice, no matter where that would be. Any options are open, and none are discouraged. New Life has also always been a purely non-profit organization, with all former slaves being donated, along with any necessary materials. No slaves are bought, nor will any offers to "supply" slaves along these lines be accepted. Any donations are kept private, with only the information of the number of former slaves entered into the program disclosed, unless the donating individual wishes to be identified.
Previous New Life projects were based on space stations, and this is still the case, however, the Phoenix project is expanding this to small communities on planets, focusing on more rural work training. We hope that this will further help those who are given into our care. Also, New Life will now be actively contacting those corporations with interest in the problems of former slaves, in the hopes of helping any of these individuals they might have in their possession, whereas before they might have lacked a place such as New Life to help them.
In the coming days this channel will be used to detail the progress made by those currently in the program, to further explain the process, and to make note of any donations of slaves are materials. If anyone reading this wishes to make a donation, whether of former slaves, equipment, medical supplies, or even land, please contact me via eve-mail, and I will respond as soon as possible regarding pickup or drop off.

Thank you for your well wishes and support.
As a small update from the last New Life project, 1000 freed slaves were donated into the program by Mephisto Jones several months ago. Today they are doing well, and several of them have already graduated and left to continue on their lives. The rest are doing well, growing use to having a choice in their lives once again.

Several updates for the New Life program. First of all, in a small raid upon a Seven outpost, ten slaves were rescued by Rho Dynamics personal. They have recently been joined in the program by 20,391 former slaves from Camar, CEO of the Stormriders. And just today, 374 more unwanted people of the galaxy, from former slaves to the homeless and jobless, have been admitted by anonymous persons. All of these people will be treated equally in the course of the program, undergoing education to help them function as free citizens of which ever organization they chose to join in the future.
In further news of the Phoenix project, the first of our farming communities have gathered in their harvest. Starting what will hopefully be a continuing tradition, a small but heartfelt festival was held, celebrating the food that these people raised with their own hands. Elements of all the cultures represented in the community were present, and everyone was seen enjoying themselves. As the harvest season approaches on other planets with New Life communities, hopefully more celebrations of life such as this one can be found.

Please add me to your list of contacts as well. I worked closely with Takitoo for several months before, during and after her stint at New Life, and I enjoy and appreciate that someone has decided to further the work.
I have large quantities of textiles and medical supplies I will arrange to be delivered first, then we can talk about other details in private.

Of course I will help with any kind of supplies if it would be needed as soon as I get back.

I wish you best of luck in your endeavors. My family owns a large amount of land that I am sure they would donate for such a worthy project but the system is over a year's travel outside the normal space lanes so I am not sure that you would be interested.

Scagga, first of all you're a disgusting piece of filth and if I ever come across you I'll introduce you the the Amarrian's "God" myself. You can tell him I said hello and his people need a healthy dose of laxatives. They don't know how to have any fun.
Secondly, as far as the history of New Life goes, I don't believe any former slave was forced or directed to follow a certain path to a new life. They were merely educated, fed, and given medical care if needed. They were shown that there is more to life than chains. Then they were given a free choice as to what to do with there lives. Many chose to pursue a living in either the Minmatar Republic or the Gallente Federation. Many more went on to promising careers in the Caldari State. Some even returned to the Empire to continue a life of servitude to the demon Amarr. It was all about free will and the right to exercise it.
As a side note, it's important to remember that many of these slaves were not just Matari but also Gallente, Caldari and yes, even Amarrian. New Life has always been a promising program and I'm glad to see it continuing.

And also thanks to Mr. Vapor for explaning more simply than I could what New Life was and still is about. Though I will not comment on his commentary before that. As to Mr. Laebetrovo's question, I believe that you are rather confused as to the purpose of New Life. I refer you to the middle part of Mr. Vapor's post. Finally, Mr. Drethon, perhapse we can talk about a donation of land in the future.

While I do not support the premature freeing of slaves, it's good to know that there is a support system in place for them. I've heard many horror stories of freed slave left to rot in Minmatar station hangers, executed if they want to return to their masters, forced against their will into fighting the Empire or worse yet SOLD to Gallente ****ographers. Good luck to you and your noble work.

All joking aside, I do wish you the best of luck with this noble venture Saikoyu. Consider me a contact at your disposal near the Verge Vendor/Essence regions. It is extremely important that these people get a chance to make a difference in whichever home they find a fit. Cultivating free thought and encouraging a life out of the darkness it has known is a kingly gift!

The New Life program recently gained a more secure position, becoming more closely aligned with the corporation Rho Dynamics. This does not mean any great changes, but does allow certain corporate resources to be used. For this purpose, Rho Dynamics and New Life have opened an outpost office in Amarrian space as an initial collection point for former slaves for those who do not wish to risk arguments with unfriendly customs officials. It is hoped that with this, and possible future stations in the other empires, it will become easier to bring more people into the New Life Program.
In other news, our space and planet based communities are all doing well and proceeding with their recoveries. There is no special news to note, but rest assured that all donations have been greatly welcomed.
