Edited by: WhiteSnake on 16/02/2007 12:33:25 We all know the capabilities of the well known alliances, especially BoB.
Did BoB made a mistake when they attacked ASCN, they worked to unite South, having alliances like fix, ascn, axe, iac, lv friendly and on the other hand they had the north hostile.
I am pretty sure that BoB had an attack planned for D2&friends in their agenda.
But what they did decide? To attack first ascn, while gave their blessing to AAA to kill Axe and leave LV fight the RA, enjoy the conflict between IAC, fix,mc and iss.
Divide and conquer, worked very well for them. They thought, that could handle their future targets with the remaining friends Xelas, fix, mc, especially after their big success over ascnĘs destruction. Also BoBĘs forum campaign was always successful the last 2 years. But things were about to change. Some nasty things exposed, linking bob directly to the gm scandal
BoB been accused, for almost everything, and I mean e v e r y t h i n g. Things that have done as well with things that will do in the future. The whole eve community, especially the bob haters started a forum war, more like a crusade against the evil.
Now BoB are been attacked by lots of alliances, almost from all directions. You donĘt see bobits post on forums like they did during ascn war, since the forums no longer can give them advantage.
So the question is , will the veterans (BoB) win the enemy blobs? Can they fight in multiple war fronts? Do they have the resources and the stamina to maintain a long time war? My opinion is that BoB harvest what they were seeding the last months.
I just hope that BoB donĘt loose everything they worked so hard all these years, because of their stupid decision to take over paragon soul, because that was the trigger of the events that lead to this war.
DICE are you feeling guilty for pressing BoB to attack ascn and conquer paragon? good luck and I wish the best to all sides involved in this war

This is very hard to read, you might want to edit it with some more spaces.
An interesting post but you are just going to get flamed to hell and back I am afraid.
Someone told me a couple of months ago that BoB would provoke an "all out" war bringing D2 to their space and that would last months so that they could have loads and loads of fighting and fun before a lot of their leads decamped to another MMO (yes, the famous POTBS).
At the time I thought it was BS, but now I am not so sure....
To save you the trouble of replying I have done it for you below:

Bob would have you believe that, one thing you need to keep in mind from their forum propaganda is they always leave themselves covered with an excuse should they fail, one of their favourites is "a road trip"
but hey, bob will win right?
you know why??
because they are BOB

It is pure arrogance: http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=476157
Molle goes and insults the whole community in that thread. Clearly he's a kid scared ****less surrounded from all sides and now it's kicking and screaming time. Just like a 300 pound pig when you go get him into his pigstock and then you need a few strng lads to subdue it but in the end he ALWAYS turns into schnitzel and blutwurst, yummy. The same Molle is doing because the end is nigh :D.
NO. BOD does not have the staying power. After we popped, i think it was 300+ BS's and well over 1000 ceptors along with about 150 of HACs BOD had to take a break and they took about 80 pilots into NOL and mined like mad for the whole weekend dispite the fact hauler spawns dropping 25M trit pop up about 8 times a day in station systems in Delve BOD did not have enough ships to take us down in one go. Also keep in mind they have been stocking up for months in preparation for attack on us.
I woudl be surpised if they have more than 500 BS in reserve. Not to mention the fittings.
Once the slave income will be gone BOD has NO source of income left. Nothing. Their allmighty POS network some people claim is bringing them tens of billions of isk every week is a myth. I know because we ran it in ASCN and it does bring in small profit but i would be surprised if that profit is more than 500M isk a week for countless hours needed to fuel them etc. Once disrupted this POS network becomes preety much useless because if youre missing one material youre basically ******.
In short: BOD will falter under two front pressure really fast because they will have NO source of income and any iskies they would have has been spent on toys for their corrupt leadership.
Sooner XS and other slaves stop feeding the pig I mentioned earlier (no insult intended, just an illustrative case) the sooner this war will be over and we all can go back to hugging veld in Perimeter now.
This is for the sake of EVE. Whoever wants this game progress cheat free will join the fight against the most arrogant and offensive (you know what im talking about) alliance that CCP seems to refuse to fix.
Anyone who will take on BOD be sure to DEMAND reinforced nodes on multiple locations so the node crashes that killed us in TPAR and TCAG do not happen again.
So the answer if the BOD can hold off the attack is a resounding: NO!!!! Chaining BoBo in south Feyth:

Its BoB not Bod, spelling their name incorrectly gives the community the impression that your acting like a 3 year old calling names in the playground and takes away the "important" message in your post (if any).

It might also mean they think BoD, as an alliance, has attained a significant in-game advantage through cheating by developers. One which CCP higher-ups chose not to address for eight months. Of course, we all know this is totally impossible, and like all the other bad stuff said about BoD, it's pure tin-foil-hattery.
Oh, wait.

Edited by: niroshido on 16/02/2007 14:46:02 take into account what LV and BOB are actually facing
RA - 800 + Players TCF - 1000+ Players CA- 1000+ players UNL - 700 + players IAC - 1000+ players D2 - 2000 + players goon - 2000+ players
thats 8000+ players
vs LV - 2000+ players BOB - 1000+ players
thats no more than 4000 players at max
BOB has easily outstretched themselves even before they took on ASCN, there alliance wasnt 1/2 the required minimum to maintain a fully defended outpost constellation
LV on the other hand is fighting a war of attrition and has been doing so for well over a year now, in a war of attrition on those who can either forward a massive lvl of assaults or keep hiding can possibly win unfortunatly LV cannot do so cause when i spent time fighting VS RA or UNL, they went into guerilla warfare, which i dont expect has changed much
There is no joking that this war can and will most be the end of both LV and BOB, even though it makes me feel sick inside to see this happen, but the odds are and will stay stacked against them, unless Goon or some other backstabbing alliance turns against RA etc.
lemme just add a point BOB have not been fighting this war for long, and sure as hell dont have any idea of what there facing
its not RA's skill, its how they act out there, they dont fight unless its a garrenteed win, they wont remain logged in if the a gank squad catches RA or UNL off gaurd LOGOFFSKI has not disappeared from there No.1 tactic's board, and most likely never will

Just for your information. What war of attrition over a year? Lotka had being hide behind Veritas, KOS, ERA, Chimp, etc and betrayed everybody.

Hmm, what are you mumbling about? RA is fighting to win, because Eve is not Olympic Games. But your alliance is fighting to loose. And your alliance had neither pride nor courage to start guerrilla war to prove that you are warriors.

It is about a year early to discern what is or was a good strategy in this campaign. Fountain is foreplay. Delve will be the real test. Speaking of Delve....
Little known Tinfoiltastic fact: Delve is BoB's home because,
"Delve" is an anagram of
"El Dev" Which as everyone knows is Spanish for "The dev" and
"Le Dev" if you prefer French.
They have to protect that region due to contractual obligations with CCP, else the T2 BPO gravy train stops.
On a serious note - I like to play with my belly button.

Opinion respected although not shared. We may have been wiped out, it was by fair game from both sides, all saw it when it happened.
The fact that we don't add ourselves to the bloblagbodsmacklogfest has nothing to do with pride or courage... Sometimes, a small aliance can have a break and let the others shape the Eveverse. Tactical vacations.
