bit confused how to do this... should i run patch and have it install on the default Eve CCP folder, or create a new one on desktop? :/ i did this a while back however I completely forget how. |

This is for Singularity, so make sure that you install the patch to your Singularity folder. If you install this to your main eve Tranquility folder, it will mess up TQ to the point where you will have to re-install eve. See here: http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Singularity

install the patch he linked
after installing it, go into ur test client folder, and make a shortcut of the eve.exe then open properties of the new shortcut of .exe and make it like this
"C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE - Copy\eve.exe" /server:Singularity
ALL UR ADDING IS" /server:Singularity"
REMBER THERE IS A SPACE BEFORE /server
after u do all of this DO NOT CLICK SISI LAUNCHER BECAUSE it will keep making u old version because ccp fails. pretty simple
install patch - make shortcut of .exe (same thing we had to do in old days) and bam **** people on sisi
i love typos:P so yea if u cant figure that out ur lol

and nothing i do works.

i look at ver # when i try to run it and its still showing the old ver even after i patched it.
it will not patch.
the patch runs but dont update.
and yes i am aiming at the right folder.
it just will not patch to 324478. even tho i have the patch.

When was the last time you sisi worked for you? not long ago just a few hours, 4 or 5 i think . before the server when down for a while. ... why?
If the patch did not take it might be a fix for the xp problems that you guys are having that is the issue. I would copy the TQ folder to a Sisi version 2 folder if you have room and retry the patch. There was a client update patch on sisi before the update. It might be preventing the patch from executing if its changeing the XP client alot.
You are running the repair tool from inside the folder right? I am sure you are. Just had to ask. I am wondering what error its giving? |

People never used the old way did they?
If you copy the tq files and you update sisi in the copied map not the tq version your tq will stay fine.

try reading earyer notes...lol
i did all that.
but i did find a fix that works.
i copyed Duality to sisi folder.
and it updated fine.
it had an earlyer ver in it then eve did.
so im in again... oh happy days :)
