Tentatively yes... but I haven't seen any official announcements about it yet - and they usually tell us the downtime will be extended, etc... so I'm now thinking that it'll be postponed - maybe due to the new jumpgate warp disruption modules replacing the dead zones

Key word being "planning." If they haven't made an offical announcement by now then I doubt it will make it out today

I rather think it will. Since they have always used today as the date, i assume that it still stand unless told otherwise.
Maybe extension is not needed ?

Moreless saying it wont be during regular downtime, from what i get out of it. i think if it will happen today it will be later. but who knows, prolly be next week.

I've been playing eve for a long time, so far I havent seen very many that have actually been on the "said" patch day. I've just logged into Gemini, it hasnt been patched up to Castor yet. So if they're going to do anything today it wasnt during downtime.
CCP has always been handing out patch dates, but as I have already said.. we've hardly ever seen them to happen on time. Its starting to become pointless even handing out a date for these patches.
Oh well.. just let the boys get on with their jobs and we'll have a patch within the week or so.
