as a way of influencing more into building them?

If you aren't influenced enough to build the first one, why would you be willing to build the second tier?
We havn't quite reached the "everyone in EVE flies a Titan" stage just yet..

mmm but thats sorta the point.. no one builds them because there isnt much veriaty
avatar.. the better of the 4 being able to tank nearly anything

More like noone builds them because it takes weeks, if not months of strategical logistics planning to even fathom creating one. Then a month or two of defence.
It's hard to build one, and thats how it should be

+500 light years to area of effect of DDD's, reduce cooldown period by 20% per level, and reduce fuel needed by 20% per level..... and the DDD's dont affect the titan. Silly or what?

I would hope Tier 2 Dreads come first. Titans should be the last thing to get Tier 2. It would be interesting to see what kind of bonuses Tier 2 capital ships would get.

I agree. Everyone i know in Eve only used a destroyer for:
1)When they started out, as the stage between a frigate and a cruiser
2) just to mess around with set ups
I think the destroyers need a "makeover", in a sense.

They've been quite popular for salvaging lately, but that's about it - I don't know of anyone ever using a destroyer in PVP.

materials and other needed parts included, not logistics, pos etc just the stuff needed to
the ship itself

Not going to mention the other 3 types but the Thrasher for instance can get a better alphastrike than a wolf for a much cheaper price as well. Worth using in Gatecamps and also good with AC's when speed fitted.

Please explain to me how making a tier 2 titan that no one could ever afford to defend long enough to build would actually increase the frequency of seeing titans on the battlefield (that frequency is currently dismal). ATM, Titans are superweapons. People that don't understand anything about how to build them, how much they cost, the skills required to fly them, or how many there actually are in EVE typically post things like this.

Titans are also a logistics tool. Titan + Freighter + Jump Portal + Cyno bridge = all across the galaxy in a span of an hour or two, instead of a week's worth of slowboat warping across the systems...
