...something about the way the D2 titan was lost feels...wrong to me. It's somewhere in the middle between "crafty strategy" and "exploit". Which, in this case, i think could best be called a "creative manipulation of a seriously broken feature".

Signed, and this is what all warning boxes should say
doing anything in EVE should cause this to pop up.

2. If you log inside a POS shield your ship should not emergency warp away.

If you implement that solution, you will have players whinning all over , that they lost their ships while logging into EVE, after their friendly POS had been taken down and replaced by an enemies, its a fail safety, implemented, so that scenario does not occuer.
That makes no sense, if you log at a POS and its killed and replaced you would still warp back to the hostile POS and get killed anyway, would you not? The only difference here is that you would appear inside the POS shields and then be ejected at high speed.
The positive part is that you would have a fairly safe spot to log capital and supercapital ships in. If you also removed the Titan and Mothership scramble immunity and added some sort of innate warp core stabs just like the blockade runners you would end up with a more balanced game. Just give them 50-100 innate warp core strenght and introduce a capital warp scrambler that scrambles for 10-25 points and things should be more balanced.

The same goes for when you're warp scrambled. If you're in a spaceship and someone warp scrambles you, you sure as hell would have something flashing on the ship console saying ACTHUNG! WARNING! DEATH MAY OCCUR!!!
We really need these things, please build them. I couldn't tell you how many times I've been looking all over the screen during the heat of battle and not noticed that I was scrammed until I tried to warp.
And how the hell are we supposed to know when there's an agression timer? Are we suppsoed to keep stopwatches on our desks when we play Eve?

Someone could be shooting your drone you abandoned an hour ago and you'd never know it. This should be considered a bug! __________________

Edited by: Harisdrop on 20/02/2007 20:04:52 I bet its a client bug where they did not intend the client to not show this in 0.0. It use to show all aggressions even can aggressions in 0.0 I guess when you removed that you removed the most important one pvp aggression. We should be able to pick and choose and allow us to place them on on UI where we want them. Let us have the flexibility to move stuff around the UI.
This is essential to keep legit logging off safe. Loosing ships because you logging off should not be allowed and should be reimbursed cause we dont know when it occurred or when it is cleared. Let the screen show us.
