Lost 3 Moa's in one day, yes you heard me 3!!
Along with all the expensive goodies I had on each one.
Total losses = Aprox 50mill
loss of 50mill for someone who
has just been in the game
for a month = Pretty Sh!tty.

u made 50 mill in 1 month starting from scratch???? how? what bothers me more is that u took a 3rd moa out and lost it after losing 2 previous moas?how did u manage that?
dont even bother turning your mods on-it wont help. |

Ok I lost the first moa in a hunting party in x2mlr me and my gang were camping a gate.
about 8 pirate bs's warped in most of the gang got away except for me in my moa and a buddy of mine in a raven.(total lag kill)
I had that one insured, so I got another moa right away and spent all my cash on equipment.
I lost that moa having an a 1 vs 1 battle against some guy my gang was chasing. (I agreed to make it a fair honorable fight to the death) So i got him to about half health when I lost my lock and couldnt get it back so I hat to sit there even though I wasnt wap jammed and die with honor
And the 3rd one i got a free bpc from a buddy and I built it with some mins I had lying around.This one had pretty ****ty equipment as i had no money. I had no money to insure it so I went huntingout in 0.0 space. After i got all the money I needed I started heading back to my station in 0.0 space (4c-b7x)
Anyhoo Nobody knew that there were 2 pirates in the system, And i got locked down 5 km from docking in the station and got blasted.
So now I'm in 0.0 space in an ibis
yeah that's right an ibis,you know I'm cool

I got podded trying to take on camped BS's in a kestrel.
It took me 4 attempts to realise that I would be not be able to affect a change in my favour. Some people call that stupidity, I call it incredibly brave

Hmmm.... Is it just me or does everybody else think the guy who lost 3 MOA's in one day deserves some kind of medal ? I mean, ya gotta love his sad story, right ?
So I get any awards for owning 2 Thorax's I have NEVER lost ? Hmmm ?!?

Yeah, I think it's great, actually. The guy had himself a combat cruiser and he actually used it in combat. Most players I've seen never actually take a chance with anything. Sure, you may say he shouldn't have been fighting in 0.0 after only a month, which is total crap, really. The guy is obviously having fun and doesn't consider his loss to be a great, game destroying event.
Black, look me up if you're ever in Gehi. I'll donate some Sanshas modules to your next Moa.

3 moa =6mil a moa full price that is 21mill for 3 of them
so u are telling me that u had 29mil worth of equipment on those moas
What were they GOLD plated

ok..When i fly a cruiser i usually stick with a bb, now 4 me to fully equip it i would need and this is really streching it ....1mil MAX
so like u said your first moa was insured-ill aussume it was for 4mil

Trust me 250mm rails go for about 4mill a piece, and I could hold 4 on my moa, along with emergeny shield booster and gauus modifier and tones of nice goodies oh and the launchers. I lost 50 mill easy

hey, the guy is having fun. He enjoys combat and has a story to tell. At least he stood and fought with honor as he put it in that one death, that is something long gone in modern EVE players. Hell, people run from fair fights. If I was him I would have agreed to no ECM in that fight, but maybe he didn't know to do that yet. I applaud him for having honor though, as he is one of the few ingame I have seen with any of that left. Seems with most people, integrity takes a back seat to isk anyday. /flame off

Wow. I've got like 30 carbide 250s in my hanger. I'll give you the lot for 100 mil. I imagine you could broker a deal for that many, there'd be tons of demand given as how 250s are worth 4 mil....
BTW, even L (425 mm) rails aren't worth 4 mil. MAYBE prototype 250s....

Your costs are way out .. i sold 5x 250mm rails in Outer Ring region at 350k each.
(which i was happy about) eventually.
They were on the market for nearlly 2 weeks no one wanted them.
4M each? Cor wish i'd sold em to you.
