Edited by: Niccolado Starwalker on 16/02/2007 22:54:14 Im Tired of being a gallente!
We are supposed to be one of the brightest race out there! But we are better at running parties then to dedicate ourselves to what matters: Science and knowledge. We are better at throwing political circus then to educate our young and bring experience of scholarship out to the people! TWhy?? because they are more interesting in the latest fashion showing up in the stores at Crystal Boulevard!
We try to interfere everywhere. Playing games, leading pointless wars! If we had spent time to what matters, Research! no one would dare take on us, and we could have been left alone to our study! Free will and speech is needed to promote discussions around research and education! But the UiC, what did they do? They kicked me out for taking my research deeper on the topic! That is why we will never match the Joves: We are not willing to pay the price to get results!
So please! Next time I have to activate my clone, I hope I can clone into a Jove. They at least take technology and knowledge serious. Keep to themselves and take care of their own business and not others!
Well. This is my short rant of the day. I think I will sit down in the corner and cry a little.

I'm tired of hearing people moan, however the Beauty of the Federation is nobody is forcing you to stay here.Simply type in a random destination into your navigation module and build your own future.I doubt you will be missed at all.

First of all, I left Gallente space for ages ago. I have to many sore memories from Ourseleart and the UoC. So, for now I am staying in Amarr space. Much more quiet. You are quite correct that I wont be missed. UoC kicked me out ages ago
Yes! I can be something better! I am better then many out there! But when it comes to be ready... When will anyone be completely ready? Personally I feel more then ready now. I am willing to sacrifice my own flesh and blood with spirit and mind to join the people of my heart: The joves! And can a person be more ready then when you are willing to give such sacrifices?
The borders are closed. And no agent have been found. I visited Ghesis in Kador space, which where supposed to hold some Jove agents, but none where to be found anywhere. It seems to me their ambasadors have all left the empire. A wise decision on the whole, but that makes it troublesome for me to join their ranks!
I can only hope the allmighty creator of all things will see fit to listen to my preyers, and lead me on the right path, in my crusade for theholy land.

Are you really sure the jove keep to themselfs?, as there are quite a few stories of Jove appearing. In one instance they even abducted one of our people, i refer you to the following chronicle Malaetu Shakor . And is this really what you seek? Jove to do something this drastic?, in short the Jove meddle just as much as any of the races. We just don't see it as clearly

They are around, and they meddle in cases which serves them. The problem is, they who are in our world these days keep a very low profile, and their ambasadors - their agents - have left us.
I will continue my search. One day my quest will get to an end, no doubt

You are?
You will find that unlike the Federation, other empires do not look at your blood to determine what you can be. For example, there are many Caldari citizens who have joined us in various ways, such as those who have retired from Mordu's Legion.
The Amarr allow anyone to join as one of their people, most of them don't join freely, but people who accept it will often find their lives are somewhat better. Some show traits similar to the Gallente in that unless you are of certain backgrounds, you're not their equal.
The Minmatar, hard to say. They suffer from large numbers of Matari leaving for places such as the Federation, but I can't recall seeing a Brutor or anyone else turning their nose at someone who wasn't a native.
It might be hard to undo the ways you've been taught since birth, but leaving the Federation is a good start. try helping the Intaki in Placid for starters. You may learn alot in seeing how the un-favored live.
I agree that there are many bright people among the other races. Yes. Among the caldari, amarr and the minmatars. The problem is their upbringing hampers their developement in the fields of research and knowledge! At least for the sole sake of it!
The caldari, no matters how bright will always look for a way to incorporate it into new weapons and warvessels. Their mind is set on war and strife. How can they ever learn to see the pleasure and the beuty of learning something new, just for the sake of the knowledge itself?
The amarrs. Bright people there too. But they as the caldari are locked into imobilization through religion. All their study and time are spent on ways to invent new prayers. Its like a tunnel. They advance in the tunnel and learn new stuff along the way. But the world outside it they do not see because they cant break the wall of a millennium old traditions!
The minmatars are the most openminded among the races. But their natural hatred toward the amarrs makes them fierce warriors, but horrible scholars.
And as I said about the gallentes. They are better at throwing parties. arranging political circus and discussing the latest fashion of art and clothes on chrystal boulevard, while our educational heritage are withering every day!
I think its time to remind all good and loyal gallentes that the foundation our people are build upon will collapse if we not soon learn from our mistakes!

You know, if you rearrange those words, you will have a useful acronym:
Science! Education! Experience! Knowledge!
S.E.E.K. sounds like a campaign slogan. Just thought I'd point that out.
I'd also like to express some disagreement at your assessment of my people's scholastic achievements. Before the Day of Darkness, we had an advanced interstellar civilisation. This was wrecked by the bloodthirsty Amarrian war machine. Since the Rebellion, we have had to build a new society from scratch, and the focus has had to be on practical technological advances rather than the more theoretical fields. Just because we have collectively been committed to practical expediences does not mean that we fail at science.

Wow...No stereotyping at all. I am Caldari and I don't think about war and weapons all the time. I enjoy Exploration more than anything. I get the distinct feeling that if you spent more time getting on with the things you aspire to do, and less time belching out "racist jargon", you might realize that people are individuals first! I'll give you that people's background can have an influence on their attitude, but they still make their own dicisions on how they interact with the world they live in. Dont wish to be something you are not just because you are disheartened.
Be who you are, Not what you are.

Then maybe you need to party for a change, or head out into the stars to find yourself brother. We are not really at ease among our own people, and as a result have chosen a life of Capsulers.
There is an entire universe to see and visit, millions of peoples and factors to encounter and enjoy. How can one mearly see themselves as 'just a Gallente' and feel bored of life when the entire universe beckons.
I have seen so much since taking to the pod, and yet there is so much more to do. I wish you well with your ill ease, and understand your plight, but it is not the Gallente with which your problem lies, but within your own mind and soul.
As the Intaki say 'To feel at home, one must first make a home'. There is so much to do, so many places to go, and so many things to learn.
Education, science and research are not just the products of hard work and a laboratory after all.
Peace Be

Nicco, you're not the only one tired of the federal policy of the Gallente. Wandering around out of the Gallente space, you'll find many like you, and especcially of Intaki origin. I believe the Intakis are long enslaved by the Federation's colonists so I always stand beside the ones who are up to the task of freeing their people from the Gallente mandate.
Don't give up on your pursuit on finding collaborates who're willing to free those they care about.

It's not necessarily the structures of the Federation that are at fault, it's the idiocy demonstrated by those who claim that to defend freedom it's necessary to deny it to those who aren't in total agreement with Federal policy.
The Gallente Federation is a moribund shadow of it's former self and should have the vision and wherewithawl to do much better frankly.

When it comes to latest fashion, I am totally uninterested. I am a scientist. A researcher and scholar. Not a model walking the streets of Chrystal boulevard.
The scolws and frightning people I think Sciggerdly do better then me. As I said I study things. I dont go out and scare people out of their hide.
Gotta give you a point though for humor. That is non exsistent. But then dealing with nitwitts all the time are tireing.
