i have been in this corp for some time and all these guys do is scam people out of contracts they recently scammed my friend out of 300mil for a 1week contract even though i asked them not to scam him so i am leaving.
A good EVE player knows his limits but an OBSIDIAN EVE player finds his way around them |

Hrmm, these guys were contracted against us a few weeks ago and they really didn't impress me. Infact, their Rohk and Hyperion loss really hurt the bottom line huh :D Oh and don't forget about the Recons.

This is the response of an ex-member of Obsidian Inc... who could not resist smack talking.
Trying to grab his revenge wich make`s us laugh. Lowered himself by making personal attacks harming other people in the corperation that considered him as a friend. We are not sorry to see him go but we see it as a relief so we can continue our daily stuff.

At this point the best way to leave a corp, expecially one with such a great record is with some dignity.
I have had a contract with Obsidian for many weeks now, and during this time they have made every attempt to
keep me happy, complete their goals, and to meet my expectations. Even though this is my first time hiring a
Merc Corp, it has been a great experience.
I simply do not see Obsidian Corporations's players even being capable of anything that may be considered
scamming. Honor, respect and loyalty is rare in eve; more so now then any other time. It's good to find all
these qualities intact within Obsidian.
Even though my contract is not yet over, i look forward to doing business over and over.. Cheers Guys!!

Actually, now that i think about it. Am i the only reacent contract Obsidian has accepted
in the past 2 weeks? Because if your trying to say they scammed me out of 300 million isk,
you are mistaken Nagatok.
Generally only half of the contracts total cost is paid at the beginning, and if Obsidian
were to fail the objective given by the client, they wouldn't charge the other half.. Thats
from my experience with them anyway. Question is, how did you tally up the 300 million isk
figure unless the job was completed?
Furthermore, every contract that is accepted is eve mailed in a very specific format to
the client which needs to be accepted before the war decleration is made. So i doubt they
would have gone back on it, as it would have been an infringment on the Eula..

Look I shouldn't comment in this thread because it has nothing to do with me, but does it strike anyone weird that the guy smacked the merc corp he was in THIS bad on the e-o forums, we've got a reply from (supposedly) some Obsidian representative saying he's out of the corp, but the eve forums still has his corp name as Obsidian under his little picture?
Normally I couldn't care less but it just seems weird to me. With what the OP said about the merc corp in question that HE HIMSELF IS IN -- namely "all these guys do is scam people out of contracts," it's hard to believe any merc corp (or other corp for that matter) would not act instantly. Keeping him shows weakness from within, and who's gonna wanna put you guys on contract when they eve-search this crap up?

Maybe perhaps because the forums are bugged?
Besides if he was still in our corp he wouldnt have given intel to our war targets and helped them hunt us down.
