Posted - 2007.02.18 02:47:00 - [33] As for the weapon print, compression is nice indeed, and if I remember correctly you can use any doomsday type irrelevant of racial titan as long as the pilot has the racial ship skill. Unless CCP changed that, that is. Every Titan only has the -99% CPU use bonus for their racial DD. So an other race's DD simply won't fit. :) - - One ship to jam them all, one ship to damp them. One ship to suck them dry and in the dark void gank them.

If you plan it well and have a bit of luck, maybe you whipe out a whole fleet with your surprise DD and kill 150 ships or something. But if you use it every day for a month you'd kill 5x as many, even when everyone knows its there. And just knowing the Titan is in system really puts constraints on the enemies support fleet - I've seen this firsthand on both sides of the Titan and its one of the more effective aspects of the DD (not actually shooting it, just having it ready to shoot). If some are afraid to reveal their titan for fear people will come kill it...well why did they build it in the first place. The ship is meant to be used.
