During the last fan fair which was shown on eve-tv, several devs stated that "log off tactics" were legitimate tactics.
In regards to BOBs titan kill. It clearly was the best use of game mechanics and infiltration in a long time.
Players logging out and expecting to be safe has become a plauge on the eve community.
Plain and simple: D2 decided to use log out tactics to keep their titan safe. They could have taken the time to get capital ship yard facilities to the front lines so the titan could be docked. (of course why risk getting the pos attacked when you can logoffski your way to safty?)
D2 made a choice to use log off tactics to protect their titan, they made a choice that their titan would live or die by THOSE MECHANICS.
So everyone seriously... stfu about it not being a clean kill. It was D2's choice.

Logging off in space (more than three hours after actual combat) is pulling a logoffski now? Damn, it's getting harder and harder to maintain a real life when playing online games!

They aren't exploiting, the devs have made that clear. But everyone knows the risks when you log off in space.

Well, since it seems that CCP replaced the Titan, the devs did not agree it was a clean kill? Just a thought.
