Will these skills be available only thru the research corporations. Or thru agents from any corporation.

Uhmm why not ask the devs for a "get tech 2 BP from Agent"-Button?? you press that button in your most favourite Production / Research station and the BP pops up in your Hangar ...
.. if thatŠs not enough maybe the devs could implement a menu of choice so you are sure you donŠt get the prints you donŠt want ...
the fun is finding out what it needs ... or do you guys download a walkthrough before starting a single player game ?

They will be randomly given by 'normal' agent missions. So I have read. ______

They are available through agents from any corporation. I just tried my first level 3 mission and it was a kill 1 million bounty pirate, and the bonus for quick completion was 13 units of Rocket Science.
I'm not sure if the bonus tables are off, it seems like 13 units of it is a bit too much, but I'm not complaining

Im very confused. I thought you werent going to have to suffer thru regular agent missions to get Tech II research agents.
I've got maxed science skills and I absolutely hate agent missions. I've seen NOTHING from CCP describing HOW to get these research agents? Where am I supposed to go to talk to one? The patch notes are pathetic.

Yes, I'm serious
You don't have to "suffer" through regular agent missions to get research agents. You have to do missions to get the new skills that make the research possible. Or, you buy them from the people who are willing to suffer through the missions to get them.

Well they aren't given to you. You need to search through all the different corps information (You can do that on the website). Find the corps that have R&D agents (under the agents tab when you get to the corp information page ingame), then find those agents that are 'available' to you (all the agents will be split into available and not available depending on your standing). But before you do all that, you need to get the advanced science skills and train them. These skills seem to only be available from 'normal' agents as time bonuses, but if people keep getting 13 of them as a bonus maybe you could find a few on the market.
btw. does anyone know if doing missions for research agents makes you any money, or does it just give you research points?
They really needed better info on all this, not everyone plays on Chaos.
Zaque (doesn't like this agent missions for skills junk).

Without chemistry there would be no life. Without research we would know nothing. Without Eve we would all be lost. |

To find research agents you need to find a research corp with a R&D division. I think all members are research agents. However they won't talk to you until you have the skill in their fields.
I'd like to know if those who got research skills got them thru research corps missions or any corp can do?

Search the corp and look in the R&D division and you find all the agents that do research with their level and their location.....
is it that hard to "Read the f**king manuel"

I hear that doing missions for the research agent will serve to increase the rate that they research for you. No money, just faster points.
As for wanting to be a researcher, I'm sure some of the mission happy people will be happy to sell off their skill packs to would be scientists. Just like what happens with implants.

I didn't say I got 13 units, I just said that was what the time bonus offered.
Since it was a kill mission and the kill missions are bugged I could not complete it to find out if I would really get the 13 skill packs.
I can confirm, however, that any corp will give the skill packs, as I received a skill pack from a lvl 2 agent for a courier mission.
