A alliance member took some notes during tourney round table at FF that should help, please do not take these as anything official as remember round-tables are a discussion forum.
"1) We've been focused on the Amarr Champ, so we'll start thinking about AT soon TM.
2) Tournament dates aren't final, but will probably be late August/early September again.
3) First weekend will likely not be broadcast, but a feed will probably be available for the community to do broadcasts.
4) Current thinking is that command destroyer jump drives will be disallowed.
5) cutoff for alliance membership will be 1-2 weeks after the rules are announced, so you'll be able to switch after the announcement." |

i think:
Warp disruption field generator - 1 module for team, 1 module for each Heavy Interdiction Cruiser. Or banned. Or new scramble script with ~ half-range from scripted field generator(now) -> ~15-25 km |

I don't think normal hictors present a big balance problem - they obviously offer a lot of control, but that's balanced by the fact that they can't be remote repped while applying that control, and a typical AT comp can easily apply enough dps to at the very least force the hic to drop its scrams and call for reps. The Fiend is a different story, but that will have to be balanced separately along with the rest of the AT ships. |

HICs are fine. Scripted WDFG are fine. Will we see them? Absolutely. Will they change the meta? Probably not. But I wouldn't be terribly surprised if CCP made them cost 1 pt more this year. Don't think they really need it tbh.

So disappointed the deadline is unlikely to be moved further out, really thought all of us at the eSports roundtable at EveVegas made a remarkably solid argument for a much later cutoff.
At least it will still be after the rules are announced.

On a slightly different topic I would love to see a format where everyone who signs up gets a shot at the final 64.
So assuming that the top 16 teams get seeded in the 64, it leaves 48 team slots open. Could play a double elimination format down to 48 with everyone who entered.
Never been a big fan of the draws and auctions for slots. It would be amazing to give every alliance a shot at things. Just ideas. |

Sisi is always open barring broken builds or what-have-you. Bring your team to S-U8A4 on Saturdays at 19:30 Eve time. TEST is still hosting open practice sessions with publicly available arenas. We typically have 4 or 5 teams at any one time.
