MMMH sounds like a total war is beginning to start into eve. I smell it!
And the "time of peace has come to an end" like CCp want in there trailer.
The enemie is working with dirty and unhonor Tricks to make his own to the absoult enemie....

If blobbing in 2 or 3 out of the 5000 systems in the cluster is 'total war' I guess so. If it wasn't for the forum and in-game contacts I wouldn't know a war was on.

If blobbing in 2 or 3 out of the 5000 systems in the cluster is 'total war' I guess so. If it wasn't for the forum and in-game contacts I wouldn't know a war was on.

I m not thinking about blobbing in 2-3 systems.Is much more the" art of war" they play, and the "way" of using mechanics aginst the all.
"just playing with minds" perhaps cleaning the "noose"

Who is being dirty and dishonourable is a matter of perspective and propoganda tbh. All opponent's in this game see thre enemie's do something strange or whatever, scream exploit,h4xx,zomg logoff etc when it turn's out to be there crappy copnputer or something.
P.s leave the propoganda out of this area, no need to spread your disease into other area's

Who is being dirty and dishonourable is a matter of perspective and propoganda tbh. All opponent's in this game see thre enemie's do something strange or whatever, scream exploit,h4xx,zomg logoff etc when it turn's out to be there crappy copnputer or something.
P.s leave the propoganda out of this area, no need to spread your disease into other area's

Oh, there is a war going on. And the catalyst was the dev in BoB scandal and CCP's lack of response to it.
But it aint happening in space. The battle of Eve Online's rating at mmorpg.com was an early encounter in this great war. I am sure there will be others.

Anyway. I wouldnt want to call recent events an 'total war'. If it is an total war, then i would see fighting in every system and above every planet (A bit over the top, but you get the idea), news reports briefing on latest events such as a planet being blown apart during a fleet battle here and there and ofcourse drafts by the empires to fuel the warengine, because the war is spewing from zero sec into the big empires.

Yeah Crumplecorn, I hear what your saying about not knowing there'd be a war on, but this galaxy is vast. However you can tell something is up, something is going on. The past couple weeks I can't think of many nights playing and traveling systems I pass through, even in high sec empire where I don't see wrecks by gates or somebody having it out by station or elsewhere. I mean more than the usual or it wouldn't be noticable.

Alternatively, CCP intends for something terribly wrong to happen in Empire space. I have a theory:
As tensions between the empires rise, CONCORD decides to put its foot down - after putting on the iron boots. CONCORD takes over empire space, establishes an iron-fisted dictatorship previously known only in Star Fraction's nightmares. Capsuleers flee to zero sec.

Hm... what IF all the "incident" (im hoping by now everyone knows what im talking about) is all in fact a CCP sponsored in-game (sorta as some happened outta game) event?
What if its all a show? Somtehing to drum up new blood into the game? The old guard seem to be leaving...
But its the only thing I can think of to explain their actions as of late...

Someone theorized before, that CCP wanted BoB to rule 0.0 in order to get ready for the new factions deal coming, hence all the "support" BoB was getting.
Seems like a stretch to me, but you never know, the utter parranoid in me sorta salivates at the thought. |

Yeah Supreme Commander is released tomorrow :)
CCP should be using it for planetary warfare. Mind you, very few people would be left fighting in space but that is my opinion :)
