Bugszor Caldari The Redeeming Age	Posted - 2007.02.19 12:20:00 - [1] Edited by: Bugszor on 19/02/2007 12:18:31 edit: the title isnt really correct. yesh i am a nub :P ok so no. this isnt a flaming thread its actualy just a thread to make them look stupid ( i hope they read this cause i wont use names) so. my corp and allies have had some problems with other corps around us :) as usual but anyways. i was just minding my own business at the gate and a retriever jumps in. i was like ahh wth.. i locked destroyed and popped him. then suddenly the gate went CRAZY lmao like 8 bses jumped in and started pounding on me. little did they know there was a carrier in sys and alligned at ss allready so it warped in. now.. what do you think happened? in local chat. you see their FC (i guess) say. ** LOGGOFF EVERYONE! and you see them logging one after another.. for a wittle archon o.0 15 mins aggression timer rules though and the easier probing aswell :D lesson of today? dont log-off. die with "pride" if you attack ------------------------------------ Dont make me bug you... We caught 2 ravens both of which logged off but died (both carrying 2X warp core stabs). If my goal should be to obtain your respect in a video game what does that actually do for me? Does the additional respect increase my fun factor? Does it increase the amount of ISK I generate? I've recieved 20 million ISK from people just for being a nice guy, and almost 90 mil in stuff (the most recent being a drake that got blown up by someone before he noticed that i was only 3 months old, he replaced it without my asking[i had actually already bought another by the time he gave me the replacement] and gave me as much of my stuff as he could salvage) people try not to pick on lone n00bs, though as far as i can tell groups are fair game, and all around it saves those of us who ARE just starting out a lot of irritation, frustration, and yes, ISK. I realize that not everyone plays the game the same way I do, it'd be foolish of me to think otherwise, but to honestly say that the respect of others is meaningless to yoou implies that you don't consider yourself worthy of respect: I.E. you don't respect yourself. It's foolish and paradoxical, because you wouldn't b posting if you didn't value others' opinions, even if your only concern is the appearance of indifference, it's still a concern. Respect given and received from my corp mates are important and my personal friends outside my corp. Everyone else falls into an entirely different category. If you are saying that my goal or priority should be to obtain YOUR respect, that is, someone outside of my circle, then I'd say you're insane. Only those within my circle deserve my respect, i.e., corp mates and personal friends. Just because I care about what other people do and think doesn't necessarily mean I value it. And if someone disagrees with a post, that doesn't mean they care.

Cmd Xen	Posted - 2007.02.26 18:26:00 - [21] I'm an alt. I went into an edge 0.0 system where there is usually a gate camp into empire. There was a Myrmidon and an Eagle stationed there, with 2 Medium Mobile Warp Disruptors. I said in local "cya with my main in a bit". I show up in my main (Sabre)within 2 minutes (it was logged off at the empire system), and they were both gone LOL. I think they expected me to show up in something larger. I went on my merry way to my Ratting grounds.
