Basical it's my first 'proper' movie. I had a bunch of fraps which was using a different resolution than I fraps/play with now so I wanted to use it up. Since you get to see the worst side of my pvp skills I decided to try and go for a tongue in cheak type movie... I make fun of myself and everyone else.
What you get to see (hopefully) is some humour, fantastic music, a bit of solo, a couple of small fleet fights, some gankage (ofc) and a few visual treats for those who aren't in 0.0 and don't get to see the eye candy gigantic wars can give you... then a little bit of what we hate in eve (tongue in cheak stuff).
I'm not going to guarantee that all the facts are correct but it was how I saw things at the time. The best part of the movie for me is the music which I absolutely love. If you don't like Heavy Metal don't complain just play Kylie using another media player while u watch it.

Oh by the way there is a wee bit of naughty language so any 3 year olds should turn up the volume to really cheese off the parents ;D

the music realy wasnt appropriate for the for the movie way to metaly for what your doin but good first attempt keep them coming

total waist of data... this only shows that u dont need to do anything in a blob. just be there to make some lag

Youre fighting r0adkill not SMASH dude. In the fleetfight in 6L78. And you have us as red? How rude, you are only neutral to us.
As far as the movie goes I have to agree with above posters, too much you warping around, undocking and so. But good resolution and fps is a deffo +. Keep it up.

Ah sorry about the mistake.. it's pretty old fraps so I couldn't remember 100%.
This was the second time I had to make this movie as I screwed it up on saturday so I spend sunday rebuilding it and while I tried to clip out as much of the waiting at gates and warping stuff as I had done so on the first attemp I did indeed end up with an extra 3-4 minutes. The original was 18 minutes, I guess I hurried my 2nd attempt along a bit too much.
The clips are also sped up between 140-200% depending. I varied this to try and have fights end at the same time as the tracks which again I did a better job the first time round.
The first sequence is a private joke with a corp mate about his corpse and the second sequence with the tempest you can just see the corpse in the forground as my BS flies past it but the quality was very bad and I was too lazy to redo it.
I think the SOD fight came out pretty well, tha vaga bit at the begining needs triming, the domi kill looked quite nice with the CTRL F9 maybe I could have slowed that little bit down coz I thought it went quite well with the music and the smartbombs nos and everyother type of ordinance hitting it looked quite nice. The ROADKILL fight is pretty boring as I was floundering arround alot so I think it should have been sped up more and maybe trimed. The Raven gank wasn't great either but I lol'd at gang chat with Melaki saying something like "That poor guy... we are raping him".
I thought the pos explosions look nice to and I tried to keep that quick. I thought I'd stick in the Titan because maybe there are people who've never seen one and it was my way of showing my thanks to Orange Species for showing it to us as we were badgering him in local. I found the lag bit quite funny at the end but maybe be sense of humour sux ;D
Thanks for the comments, I doubt I'll try to remake it again though. I've just got to get into the habit of running fraps more often as that was all I had. My HDD died last year and I lost some really sweet solo stuff from when I was pirating gutted :(

Sure but why not do it in constructive way like the other guys comments? Using you're argument I also have the right to say what I think wink wink?
In the end alot of work goes in to making movies not just mine, to call something a total waste of data is childish and disrepectful.
I've had alot of positive feedback from corp mates and alliance mates and I don't think it's such a bad effort but people have their right to not like it. Still if you don't want to see exactly what i described above why download it in the first place?

Nice work Maty I personally really liked it and the music! thought the quality was v nice also, explanes the size of it.....
To those whith forum torrets syndrome, Got nothing nice to say? dont say anything then! If you dont like it delete it, no need to be a spaz about it.

Nice to see VSP Corp represented in the 6L7 fight. It does seem like a while ago, I seem to remember the fight being in 6yc.
Anyways, let your corpmates that I didn't play any other space mmo with this handle x.x It seems every time they come down to geminate, another one of the ROA guys asks me :-) Good fight mate, and good work on your video man.
