How many Moon Harvesting Arrays can you fit to each type of POS and what is the yield like?
Thanks.

You can anchor as many harvesters as your control tower can handle their CPU usage. Let¦s say a Gallente Control Tower has 6750 CPU you can online up to 13 Harvesters (500 CPU each).
But as moons only have only up to 4 (?) minerals it makes no sense to anchor more Harvesting arrays. A moon mineral can only be mined by 1 Harvester at a time. So if a moon has 3 minerals a 4th Harvester would be useless.
The yield is 100 per hour per Harvester. With Moon harvesting Array II¦s (not on market yet) you will be able to harvest 200 per hour. But only if the moon mineral to be harvested has an abundance of 2 or higher (is listed in the probe result when surveying the moon). If it has an abundance of 1 the yield will not more then 100/hour even with a Moon Harvesting Array II.

Thanks ever so much chap, really appreciated.
So if the yield is over 2 you still can't set 2 Harvesting Array I's on it then, sad. This is not a signature. |

So what about a moon with a mineral that has an adundance of 3? Do you need a Harvester II to get 300/hour? All men die, few ever really live. |

Can you mine any moon that you have a pos at or is it security level based?
Ie: Can i mine a moon in a 0.6 or 0.7 sector?

As per this page (further down in table) you can't anchor moon harvesters in sectors above 0.3 with the T2 moon harvester being in 0.2 (not sure if that's intentional or a bug).

Tech 2 harvesters mine 200 per hour, if you get a moon with abundance 3 then there's no way to get 300 per hour at the moment (until an adv T2 harvester is drawn up).

Abundance currently has no effect at all.
You can only mine each mineral ONCE.
There are no T2 Moon Harvesters in game, there's a market entry for them, but no one sells them / there's no way to invent them.
You need at least a silo or a coupling array per harvester to store the output, and I believe the most different minerals a moon has is 4. So you can do 2 medium reactions on some moons, mining 4 different products.
The limit generally, is the amount of CPU harvesters/silo's and reactors take up, vs how much your tower has.
You cannot moon mine or react in 0.4 or above only 0.3 and below.
T2 moon harvesters were on the test server (for several patches), but have never made it to TQ.. They would be the first T2 POS structures if released. They are more likely to be released as an advanced Harvester and thus NPC sold like the adv ship assembly/ adv labs. Rather than as T2, because NPCs don't sell T2, and there's no T1 BPO for invention.
