Is there any indication as to whether or not exploration sites can appear near non-orbital stargates? I've been trying to pin down a couple of signals in a sysetm, and all attempts thus far (over 45 tries on one site, and approaching 30 on the other) have come up empty. Both scanning attempts have not included the non-orbital stargate.
This leaves of course 3 possibilities:
1. They are both around the stargate (doubtful as I don't think exploration sites spawn around stargates.)
2. They are both high level sites and will take lots of probing to get (even if it takes a while, \o/)
3. They are BOTH in one of my tiny blind spots (unlikely that they are both in blind spots, however the possibility is a frustrating one).
Anyway, if I continue to fail to pin these sites down, I may include the stargate anyway just to be on the safe side (it doesn't cost all that much to send out another probe anyway). However, confirmation on that exploration sites only spawn around planets would be very helpful. And I guess if it comes to it, I can probe the inner planets one at a time  .

Problem is even this is not positive. They just seem :( after all non-planet stargates are not that many...
