EVE pride itself on a very player driven and realistic economy system
so where's the ADs? trading / manufacturing corps might want to advertise their low price sale, service corps might want to advertise their research/hauling/manufacturing service, fighting corps might want to put out recruiting ads.
We have player ADs in EON, where's the in-game ad system?

How about we could build panels ourselves and where ever we got sov in 0.0 we could put ads on them or sell ad space?

CCP could dedicate a server to hosting the pictures and linking them to each system, where it will be displayed on a billboard BIGGER than the current one (so people can actually see them). There could be an ingame ad system (under corp pannel maybe) that updates each system's AD server, just like manufacturing
Or if the devs are afraid nobody will be able to monitor the pictures, or the pictures will be too much data for the servers to handle, just do what they did with the corp logos and enable players to create text-based ADs with all font options included.
addtionally we should have in-station ads too, if they bother put that in with the next-gen graphic engine.
oh did i mention make the billboards bigger...

Simple really I know you have the IGB but lets face it not everyone is an web wizard! What eve needs is a new station service, a regional BBS!
And to cut down on complexity (and idiocy) a simple cookie cutter interface that allows you to split your 'post' into several different catagories like News, Trade and Services allow people to choose a standard advertising template or news story (propaganda!) or write your own, linking your contract(s) or personalities.
It should be limited in size of course but subject to fees paid, naturally!
And it would be fun :p
