when i try to log-in, it shows the revalations thing but no text when i type my name. also, when i do log in, there is no text in the news or on my character. any ideas? i reinstalled EVe client 3 times. maybe corrupt client download? i dunno but i need help plz and thx

I just installed EVE on my Ubuntu system. I am having this problem. I'm sure others have a solution by now. It would be nice if someone would post it.

No text is usually caused by a very old or underpowered graphics card. |

I can't see all text but when I can copy this text on word, I can read it.

are all of u running the linux system?
put in ur pc specs
as the other said it could be a graphic card problem..
to the SS wow! that sucks man

I'm running XP with:
1.8 Ghz processor
444mb RAM-> I think this may be the problem though
64mb intergrated video
latest Directx
-i can't think of the problem b/c i also play Guild Wars and that requires approx. 512mb and yet it runs fine, same with its video.
Thanks for any help, love the game just it stinks i can barely play it

I have this probklem to on my work lap-top, it has basically the same specs as Loussai's but it's a P4...

i have the same issue!!! i have directx 9.0c, 1gig ram, but fairly old graphics card ... geforce 460, but it has 64 mb ram ... also on xp.
any help would be great
