This was sort of an old pirate tale told to new pirates and old carebears, it seems to have disappeared with time so i think its time to bring it back.
One day a starving scorpion comes to the edge of the now desolate desert, on the edge of this desert is a river. On the other side of this river is a fertile land with many a small creatures for the scorpion to feat upon.
The scorpion sees a frog swimming in the water and calls him over saying "Im starving and need to get over to the other side of the river so i wont die o, will you let me climb upon your back and take me there?" to which the frog replys "How do i know you will not simply kill me and eat me?"
The scorpion says "Well, if i climb upon your back and sting you, we will surely both drown." The frog thinks it over, being a kind creature, he decides to allow the scorpion to climb atop his back.
The frog begins to swim and halfway across the river he feels a sharp stinging in his back, realising he has been stung and will die shortly he asks the scorpion "Why would you do this? now we will both die." To which the scorpion calmly replys "I cant help it, its in my nature."
Such is the nature of pirates.

Except the smart scorpion (pirate) makes sure he has a mother****ing jetpack or scorpion friends to pull him out of the river.

Technically, neither are beetles, ants or flies.
Hemiptera (commonly known as "bugs") is a fairly small order of insects in comparison to others like Diptera (Flies/Bees/Mosquitoes) or Coleoptera (Beetles).

I'm well aware frogs aren't bugs...
but scorpions? Arachnids? With exoskeletons and such?
Meh, I consider em bugs.
Then again, there are lobsters...are those also bugs? They would be if we used my description...uh...
