So I'm a station trader working out of secondary trade hubs. I do fairly well for myself and bring in a relatively decent amount of ISK on a daily basis. But my question for you guys (even knowing I'm going to get a "Tut tut, that's a secret" storm from this post) is what items are you guys trading, or what suggestions can you make so far as what sorts of items to look for? |

I'm new to trading myself, but really you just want to look for items that you can buy cheap and sell for profit. Pretty obvious I know, but you gotta spend some time studying prices, price trends, see if you can gauge demand, etc. If you've done other things in EVE, try to leverage that. I used to do alot of 0.0 ops, so I made a few hundred mil (alot for me) selling POS fuels in places I knew people would buy them for higher prices. If only I'd watched the other isotope prices I probably could have made alot more from everything that happened with oxygen isotopes. So learn from me and don't get fixated on just a few items. |

You can gain a fair amount of insight by doing some other activities. Learning mission and pvp fits will tell you what people are looking to buy and doing some missions will tell you what items are commonly dropped in your neck of the woods. There is no limit to the amount of information that can be applied to trading. The more aspects of the game you are familiar with the deeper that well of information will be. |
